Parrott was 19th man today photo in his thread.

the others may have had their shirts hanging up as well. sterling's hit some good form in the u23s since coming back so if there's a place for a striker in a couple of the upcoming games i think he deserves it over parrott for now.

The Tranmere game perhaps?

I don't think Sterling will be good enough to make it at Spurs unfortunately. Parrott however is going to be a special player imo and fits the Poch mould perfectly. He also has the physical attributes already. Wouldn't be surprised to see him make the bench this season.

I don't disagree but i'm not convinced that parrott is the better of the two right now, sterling has three years on him and has been finding the net in the u23s since coming back from injury. if it's just a case of sitting on the bench for the experience then it may as well be parrott but if the intent is to give one of them a run out then i'd probably go with sterling, not that i'd be disappointed to see parrott. eyoma, marsh and sterling have all been training with the first team this week so it would seem that they're probably in the frame for the tranmere game as @Vinny_Sammways_left_peg mentioned.

Ageee with your assessment but worth noting that Parrott had his choice of a number of clubs but chose to join Spurs. Would imagine he was promised first team opportunities to entice him to sign, so might be a factor. Also, would make sense to fast-track him if the club feels he is a future first team player. Could be similar to Skipp leapfrogging TOB as he just seems more like a Poch player.

What’s the point of having Nkoudou on bench if you don’t bring him on at 2–1 down it’s utterly pointless.

Can we bring back Onomah if we want. Might be handy as another body considering Wanyama situation. Few sub appearances and poch can have a 5 month look at him before a final decision.

there's probably a break clause but with dier and dembele back soon i can't see it, plus onomah himself is actually injured at the moment too.

It’s a knock apparently be back tomorrow. Latest report on him from a Wednesday fan is excellent in moments and then totally disappears. At least he is consistent lol.

looking at the 2nd years, the following are believed to have signed pros:

skipp (official, already on his 2nd contract)
maghoma
patterson
markanday

would imagine the following have been/will be offered contracts:

oluwayemi
lyons-foster
bowden
a.shashoua
clarke
richards

which leaves the below as questionable:

tainio
statham
okedina
pochettino jr
thorpe
mukendi

if i had to guess then i'd probably say that tainio, poch jr and thorpe will be kept on with the other three borderline.

There seems to be a good relationship between the Maghoma family and the club. At least I assume Jacques, Christian and Paris are brothers?

Has anyone seen this? Mental. And this excludes EFL players like Mount, Barnes, Abraham, Eze, Aarons, Kelly etc. (as well as Solanke)

and onomah - who at present still has a good chance of starting at the u21 euros.
Hasn't it now got to the point where there's probably loads of players in that list that won't go to the Euros but we'll have a very strong team nonetheless?

yeah, most of those he has in the "starting" positions i doubt will be going - taa, gomez, chilwell, winks, rlc, sancho, alli and rashford, not sure about maddison. it's a bit of a strange list to compile though as a lot of those playing in the football league have a good chance of starting - tomori, kelly, onomah, mount and abraham. it's difficult to predict the line-up as there's a lot of players to fit in, skipp has a chance of getting into this squad as there aren't too many other defensive mids, will depend on how the rest of his season pans out and if rice declares for england and goes to this tournament. either way though it will be a strong side, certainly a lot stronger than the days of having cauley woodrow start up front.
