People need to get over it....if Levy had pulled a trick like that we'd all be loving it,you've gotta be so naive to think that Levy conducts business in a whiter than white manner,
Manipulating and using weaker clubs,agents and players is how clubs operate....we do it,every club does it.
I hate Chelsea for more reasons than I can be bothered to list,but they did a number on us,and you know what ? I begrudgingly admire the plan.....they buy one player , and the effects of that are being felt at some of the biggest clubs in Europe....its a fucking good move (if you take off your Spurs tinted glasses)

Personally I think he'd be awful in the PL, probably the most overrated player around, he's ok in a minor league like the Japanese second division or the Portugese League, I just can't see him being effective in a strong league.

Ozil to Utd I would imagen as well. Maybe Di Maria to someone. As well as obviously Willian to us. Essentially the Bale deal is the key to a lot of players being moved around and the latter his transfer gets the less time Arss and Utd have to reap the rewards as well as us having less time to find an alternative. Makes sense in a fucked up, only Chelsea would be so low, sort of way.

Although, weirdly, if the Bale sale is delayed (say until deadline day), the Arse, ManU, etc., may find it too late to strengthen. So we kind of win?

I don't see why Ljajic to Roma would have any effect on Lamela considering they play on different wings and have different dominant feet. I also don't know why Ljajic would turn down us and then go to Roma who finished sixth last season. He really wants to go to Milan, going to Roma will only delay this. All he needs to do is wait a year and move on a free. If he was willing to go to a mid level club surely he would jump at the chance to come to us, which he didn't.

Like many I no longer wanted Leandro as the 'answer' to our striker problem. That said, now that we have our star striker I'd be happy enough with Leandro as his backup - not sure if we could realistically aim much higher than that.

An unlikely scenario I would like to see play out just to wipe the smug grin off those Chelsea phuekers;

RM pull out of the Bale deal citing the calliopes of Willian as our reason to not accept their deal.

We buy Lamella regardless

RM buy Mata from Chelsea.

RM loan Mata to us with a view to us buying him next season. This would be part of the inevitable Bale sale on transfer Deadline day.

(I concocted this as fact whilst taking a pelting from my Liverpool supporting mates earlier. Strangely they didnt seem to pull me up on it. I think I've had enough drink to believe it will now happen)

I'd love to see us sign Michu rather than Leandro. Prem experience, lovely ball control, great strike and can play up top or deeper, depending on what we need any given weekend.

Was really pissed off about the Willian debacle. But am completely over it now. First home game of the season tomorrow and even without any new signings we look strong. Can't wait for tomorrow!

Not saying we don't need anyone else. Of course we do especially when Bale goes. I'm sure we will anyway.

We have also got 3 top quality players that weren't involved at all or much last season.
