Where's the Mata/Ozil ITK?
I'll add it to the RO.
Ba-dum-tist.

Where did the Mata ITK come from?
I would literally cringe with embarrassment if it transpires that we go to Chelsea cap in hand after they have just stolen our transfer target and laughed in our face about it. Surely we have too much self respect to even contemplate this.
Nedelev was having a medical next week I thought.
As for Halilovic, that just seems to be in stasis in that everything is agreed yet nothing is happening but with Willian all but gone, I think it makes the deal that bit more appealing to conclude.

Mata is one of the few intelligent footballers off the field, he's already got one if not two degrees and is studying for another in his spare time. Someone like him may not be so easily guided by agents or chasing the money. Just a thought. If he played for someone else of Chelsea's stature and genuinely has fallen out of contention I think he'd consider us. However, Chelsea would rather let him rot than strengthen us. Shame.
Yea might have been a tenous link mate - still have little idea of how genuine our interest is to be honest.Halilovic will still be the deal of the summer for me (as in we will look back on it and be some grateful we went for it). Sounds crazy with all the deals we've done and might but really feel he could be crazily good. Maybe I'll be totally wrong but who knows.
Where was the reports about Nedelev's medical? Just seems these reports are all unsubstantiated

Just imagine, Jose could give another press conference in which he humiliates us, whilst the brown nosing press pack laugh on like hyenas, if we were to bid for him.and still the Mata chat rolls on..
The point that I was making is that the game is different now than it was in Fergie's first five years. Fuck, it's barely even the same game. The sheer vastness of the money involved has changed everything completely. AVB is clearly a gifted, committed manager, and the degree to which he's been backed is enormous. For the first time in my personal history as a Spurs fan, and looking at our history, the first time since about 1960, we have a truly legitimate setup. For me, the biggest step this window hasn't been the players we've brought in, or the money we may get for Bale, it's the fact that our manager said he wanted a technical director, and so we brought one in.Look at AVB as Fergie in the early 90's
For the first time in how long we do have a manger who is trying to build a very strong SQUAD rather than a just a strong first 11, i think selling bale will be even more beneficial for the long term should we replace him with 2 top class attacking talents (and all the other strengthening we could do with the extra cash.... who needs oil money when you've got bale money???)
So yes, we do have a manager who's looking to build a strong squad. But what happens if he gets fed up with that mongoloid section of our fans who boos the team if they haven't scored by half-time? What happens if a power-- not a nouveau-riche club like PSG, but a serious power like Real Madrid, or Bayern Munich, (I know Pep is there now) or United if Moyes doesn't keep their level of success up, comes in for him and we haven't won anything yet?
Not sure, I think their quite happy presenting I'm a Celebrity..We're not signing Mata or Ozil. We've more chance of signing Bert and Ernie.
