We need a ball carrier for when trying to pass through a 10man defence won't work ala Silva, Ben Arfa, Hazard, Mata, Aguero, Nani etc.

For anyone who has watched Willian does he fit his mold? I have not seen him play.

Is this big investment into us coming soon?? or just hot air!!

Hot air by the looks of it.

This is very disappointing Mr Levy, I mean look at the chavs loads of signings at the very start of the PL season.

You don't need me to point out the difference between our finances and the Chavs do you?

Another £80mill spent this summer and with a new striker they'll probably break the £100mill mark again. Tossers.

That **** should be playing until sold! Just like Moses played for Wigan vs Chelsea and then Chelsea bought him...

Also i rate Sandro very highly but Parker all day for me in that position. He's much better on the ball. If we buy Moutinho then you play him and Parker along side eachother with Sig or Vdv infront of them in a middle 3.

Do you honestly believe he is still at Spurs in all but name? I do not think RM would be happy at all if he pulled on a Spurs shirt again.

The two situations aren't the same. Judas was out of contract and free to walk away. Modric is beholden to Levy and must be seriously concerned about missing out on what would be a dream move for any player. He has let us down off the pitch with his behaviour but to my mind he never let us down on it.

He is letting us down on the pitch by not playing :(

Look we all knew this was going to be a season of transition, we're two games in and the transfer window isn't even closed an fans are lining up like lemmings to jump off a cliff, last weekends result was ok, so the issue is today's result, let's get real and hope that some quality can be introduced this week, the existing players can adapt and enhance their individual and collective performance and pick up wins in the next few games

I don't necessarily disagree with your post, except for "last weekend's result was ok". The result was not ok; however, the performance was.

Our problem is That we set unrealistic targets for incoming and outgoing deals cos when we're selling we want big money for our players regardless of they even make our squad from time to time but when we are buying we expect world class players for league one money.

This small minded attitude is what keeps holding us back levy can't expect to get it all his own way.

Unless there is a change of attitude or owners this debacle will continue to occur each and every window.

I'm sorry but untill its confirmed and as long as we pay his wages I don't give a flying cluster fuck about what Real Madrid think! (y)

Ade to START today. #thisisthebestteamyouveeverplayedfor

One thing I'll never understand is why ITK's put their neck on the line and risk their reputation over something so trivial as starting line up.

I guess it must be on a whim; to try and raise their credentials.

Not bashing akq; he's made some spot on shouts - But instances like this can be avoided by merely keeping quiet on the matter...

But this is the whole issue These players who won't be part of the team should not be paid If they are getting paid they should behave like professionals and be able to play on They are spoilt brats if they behave like this

Yes sorry, I meant the performance, sometimes in a roundabout way the performance is the result in the long run but at least a point at newcastle was the aim I would say

To be fair how do we know he wasnt just saying that he'd like ade to start .. He doesnt actually say. "Ade will be starting today" . I guess these ITK types are allowed to post non ITK sometimes ?

Spurs fans carping about André Villas Boas after 2 games need to jack it in and find themselves a new god. Because dealing with reality is clearly too much for them to cope with.

Do you know the last time I watched a game close to where we passed so deftly, tackled with such spirit? It was the UEFA Cup Final against Anderlecht.

I was genuinely proud of us today. The best analysis you will ever read and player ratings for you in the morning. Of course it was heartbreaking to watch them equalise, but this I have absolute faith in intelligence, wit and guile. The boss is building something rather special here. The result today hurt, but I'm still so excited about this season.

Not ITK but a review from Harry hotspur and one to give some much needed hope back to the spurs supporters

I would say Willian has this ability as part of his game. He likes to take players on and is quite crafty with the ball at his feet.

Today highlighted how much we need another striker. What happens if Ade gets a long term injury? I don't want to see Defoe start up front on his own again in a Spurs shirt. Would have thought we'd learned that much from the QPR game last season. Impact sub off the bench or up front with Ade.

Moutinho's become a necessity - or someone of his ilk. Dembele would do me fine personally, need someone comfortable on the ball and can take a man on.

Another winger would be nice, but not entirely necessary - we really do lack craft and intelligence in the final third.

IMO is isn't just necessary .......it's vital.

Could be the difference between CL and EL
