There is no way Llorente will leave Bilbao. Imposible.
In Madrid the news if that Lass Diarra as told Real Madrid he wont be on the plane to start their preseason tomorrow as he wants to solve his future away from Madrid.
If we sold Modric for 45m, i think 15 for Diarra and 30 for Rossi would be an improvement to what we've got now. If you add Mata (very unlikely), we could even be pushing for the title.

The only thing is I wouldn't want diarra to stop Sandro's development and diarra would come here to be first choice but then again, diarra is very very good at covering the defense and he would enable us to have a very solid 4-3-3

Modric won't go til january. I say get the best price possible now and send him on his way. We dont want this hanging over us before the start of the season. We need to start the rebuilding process now...

has anyone kopped onto fact of what modric said that he knows for fact that chelsea manger wants him , he said ' There is no doubt that Chelsea want me - they sent a concrete offer to Tottenham. I know that the new Chelsea boss said he wants me in his team. Of course I am flattered by this interest in me - it's a club that all players dream of joining, fighting for every competition available.

Re Rebrabs info, I'd rather not see Pav leave. He'd be an able number 2 (as he was last season) to whoever our main striker is going to be (someone new please). Two of Keane, Crouch and Defoe need to leave in my opinion.

Club are working VERY hard, in fact our staff haven't been allowed to book time off at the moment. Can't fault our effort, so hopefully it will reap the rewards!

This is what stuck out for me in rebrab's update. As frustrating as the window has been, it's nice to know the club seems to be doing all it can. We just need to play the waiting game, if come September things haven't developed as we'd all hoped, I'm not pointing fingers at the club (this time )

Crouch and Keane would be the 2 I would sell but unfortunately Crouch never seems to be linked with anyone :roll:

He's the striker we least want to sell (bar Crouch) but is also the one gaining the most interest.

I don't have a preference of which order they should leave as I feel Defoe, Crouch and Keane are equally as awful as each other.

Pavlyuchenko is a strange one .... he's clearly talented but he's such a girl/lazy/unable to hold the ball up which is a major problem when you play one up top.

I just hope we make some signings before the season starts, especially with the nightmare opening fixtures that we've got.

not sure what to make of todays itk. i mean any person employed by spurs and who would be involved in dealing with players coming into the club in any capacity should know that summer is the busiest time especially in july and augest so i think this no one can book holidays or time off is a bit simple and obvious isnt it?? nothing earth shattering or exciting there. to me thats means nothing.

pav even said himself when he leaves he wants to go back to russia. i can see pav staying till january and been sold to some russia side then. who cares about keane and defoe. keane wants money and will wait as long as possible to get right deal. defoe can get goals but i wud noyt be relying on him at all. not one bit. he is selfish and only in it for me me me. imo no one is a good partner for defoe but there u go.


i hope rumours of hutton close to going are true and i hope diarra would come in to really stregthen us in centralmidfield and pushing jenas further to door 2.

slowly coming together, very slowly but i always knew striker positions wud not reveal itself till towards end of window. too many big clubs who pat big wages are all looking for strikers. we just have to wait our turn
