Who did Levy really blame?
Ramos has no top level managerial experience so if the DofF was fired, it was never a real option for Ramos to do the job on his own. So if Comolli was fired, Ramos would have had to go. Ramos was Comolli's appointment, so if it was deemed Ramos had failed, Comolli had to go. So, the question is, which one did Levy decide we couldn't continue with and thus casue the other to lose his job? And I don't think we can say it was 50/50, because that is never the case. There is always one person more sackable, or more to blame than the other. In Levy's eyes did Comolli do too much damage and thus Ramos had to go with him? Or did he think Ramos was a poor coach and thus blame Comolli?

I think this is a judgment on the Jol decision, for which Levy isnt blameless, of course.

I think Levy is just looking for a totally new start.

Ramos has been shit. I cant be bothered to justify this, its just true. look at our league form.

Comolli has had his good points. But on the other hand, he has made some terrible decisions. For me, signing Pavlyuchenko and then realisiing he cant play with Bent is a sackable offence instantly. I dont think he has been awful, but there is no way he has been anything better than average.

The only one I feel sorry for is Gus, and I never thought he could cut it anyway.

They all had to go because they were all responsible, I never did buy into the fact that Gus should stay. I think Levy should go too.

You don't need to justify it Supersonic. As you said, it's self-evident.

I would have liked Gus to stay too. I always have a bit of a soft spot for ex-Spurs players. Except Sol Campbell.

ED: And Bastardov. And Tim Sherwood.

But do you think it was possible for Ramos to stay if Levy blamed Comolli?

Yes. I think they could have replaced Comolli with another DF and then sacked Ramos if it was required at a later date.

They sacked Ramos and then decided it was time for a clean slate. Gus probably decided his position was untenable.

This looks like preparation for a tough relegation battle.

Levy went for the fancy continental style (Jol wasn't flashy enough as a manager), it didn't work and now he's gone back to home grown Harry.

If this doesn't work Levy should fuck off too.

And that's all i've got to say about it.

A&C I cant agree with that.

Hoddle was unlucky. i always thought he was a good manager.

Jol was a great manager. Could be a little hpahazard at times but we played some great football under him.

And to be fair, most people though Ramos was a brilliant coach when we got him. Levy has only appointed one failure.

Its just that he has ditched too many successes
