Mason is Tottenham through and through. Mental that he is getting called a clown and a wanker in here

Not sure being Spurs through and through should prevent you from criticism for continuing to pick Dier and some of the other dodgy decisions he’s made.

Decent subs today, despite what the SC hivemind said at the time.

Wolves are pretty poor but it was a fairly comfortable 2-0 win.

Don't think anyone has a problem with criticism, it's just that wanker etc. goes a bit too far.. For some.

Havent seen the posts where he’s called a wanker, but I’d ban them personally for their stupidity.

Doesn't matter how well or crap he’s doing, he’s been thrown in at deep end and deserves our support.

I think we should have just realised we need 2 managers. Get Jose in for when teams are pressing high up the pitch to coach a set up where you sit back and pick them off and give Mason the games where teams sit in a low block. We'd have won the quadruple.

Not sure you can go down the route of being able to call Jose, Sherwood etc whatever you like.

But Mason, King etc are on some form of sacred list because they were in the Spurs youth team :)

I personally don’t tend to resort to calling them names anyways (although to be fair Sherwood is a bit of a wanker ??).

Players/Managers that give their all for the club and have shown loyalty to Spurs should never get personal abuse.
(Mourinho/Sherwood said things to protect their ego, sometimes to the detriment of the club, that’s the difference)

It’s mental that someone like ndombele can come in and treat Spurs like an all inclusive holiday for a year and still avoid all the personal abuse people like Mason and Dier get.

Do you really not understand why Spurs youths, one of whom is a legend/ one of our greatest players and another of whom was symbiotic with our early transformation under Pochettino, and neither of whom have ever spoken out of turn, get more slack than two guys who have almost no connection with our club, played horrible football and were ritually embarrassing when put in front of the cameras with some of the stuff they said?

Why on earth would the heirachy at Spurs want Dier to play? he's costing us games. This is all on Mason surely.
I just can't see Levy saying 'Go have fun Ryan, do whatever you want'.

I'm no fan of Dier, but the thinking could have been he would play himself into the England squad, thus adding a bit to his transfer value. This is the same hierarchy that just gave Dier a new contract, probably want a return on investment.

Nope? But maybe more to do with the clubs continual ability to flatter to impress and win anything.

Ndombele has had a shed load of abuse in match threads to be fair.

I think being a young inexperienced English manager its easier for him to select English players who he has more of a rapport with. I think that's the main reason for him playing more of Dier, Winks and Alli. To be fair to him Dier has done well in all but 1 game under Mason so far. Alli has looked bright and more like his old self. Winks has looked fine off the bench. It's just difficult once people have written players off to ever give credit or accept they can turn things around.
