Surely this pushes Levy to go out and get the Manager sorted for the summer ASAP. The squad need stability, they need to know what's that there is something in place moving forward. Levy absolutely must act now. Go and give JN what he wants to sign the deal THIS week.
Got to take our time mate, have to make sure we get the best possible candidate.

:sorry:

Think it's a totally free hit for Mason after the shitshow of the last few weeks and the players will probably be up for it after finally getting rid of Conte and all his baggage, very little will be expected so for me it's a win win for Mason but please if it does go pretty well no calls for it to be made permanent ,he's miles away from that and if he has serious aspirations he needs to go somewhere else to cut his teeth rather than hanging around here as a friendly face.

Really, if we were well set up, Ryan should be able to step in and get the team playing well. Why not? Well, because we are not well set up. We should have a style, an idea, an identity, but we don’t. The fact that most of our CB’s are not suited to a back 4, as they are not good enough to play that way, we need an extra CB in to cover for lack of quality. That is on Levy and the way we have been set up badly behind the scenes.

Good luck to Ryan, but due to injuries and lack of quality, he’s got a very very tough few days ahead.

Well I'm sure the player committee have to sanction it.

What a joke.

In all seriousness, how the hell can you have a player committee that influences the chairman and not undermine whoever the manager is.

Staggering.

It's not like the statement said the player committee said "enough of stellini, we want mason".

All it said is "the squad is determined to pull together to ensure the strongest possible finish to the season"

How you got that the committee is sanctioning the hires or influencing Levy I have no idea.

Haha...I never said the statement said that.

But I think it's fairly obvious they have influence over Levy.

It explains the cosy culture at the Club as well.

Fucking hell a blind man could deduce there's something seriously wrong how the footballing side of things are run.

But you carry on living on the moon mate lol

Daniel, the manager hurt my feelings, and he says he won't pick me for the next match. We the player committee members want him removed immediately and demand an extra weeks salary for the inconvenience caused. I had to come in on my day off to tell you this.

Also, I'll never leave so you won't have to sign any new players either so it's a win win for you.

Honestly, I’d have a lot of respect for Mason if he just came out and said fuck the results, top 4 is gone, our goal for the rest of the season is just to establish positive, aggressive, attractive football. Flush as much as we can of the last few years and get back to basics.

If I were in Mason's shoes I'd have told Levy that I am not willing to take over. He's worked with two guys who got sacked without a plan now. Levy created this mess he can solve it. Either get your man in now or find someone else in the club.

"I met with the Player Committee today - the squad is determined to pull together to ensure the strongest possible finish to the season."

The squad including a contingent that downed tools to get rid of the manager on four consecutive occasions? Likely that some of those players are on this committee as well, what ever the purpose of it is who knows.

The players are multi million pound assets. Of course they're going to have some input. But the chairman is not making firing/hiring decisions based on the players input. That's crazy.
