See @Tucker and @rossdapep ’s great overviews but tbh I don’t think you’ll see the reality so each to their own.what context? we were 5th no? hardly relegation fodder, we do have some decent players, we arent totally amateurs, yes we had just been pumped by Newcastle but sometimes those freak results happen (man utd for example), they don't represent a whole squad
I hate what Conte did to the clubWe’ll never know, because Conte fucked off.
I was at the Brentford game and for 45 mins we played really well then ran out of stream
It's perhaps too early to give him the main job but I do think that is good enough to have a crack at a lower league team.He speaks so well and says the right things also has that self confidence but I just don’t know if he’s tactically or good enough at motivating to get there
Yeh, but nobody seems to be looking at him why? It's perhaps too early to give him the main job but I do think that is good enough to have a crack at a lower league team.
I think he has possibly done everything he can at Spurs for the time being but not ruling him out for the future.

I think he will need to apply and sell his vision for jobs. I don't see clubs coming in for him just because he has worked with the Tottenham first team and youth team.Yeh, but nobody seems to be looking at him why?
Swansea would be perfect for him when Martin gods
JD or Ledley would be better cultural ambassadors than Mason if that’s the criterion we are seriously looking at. They are legends at the club from playing days and have seen everything. If a cultural reset is needed, they are best placed imo.Well, we tried the 'cultural reset' with Jose and Conte, hoping it would make us winners.
Didn't work.
How would you like to see the cultural reset be? Because I see Mason as actually been a good candidate to reset things because he's seen everything!
He saw how it was under Poch so knows what went it to that working and then failing.
He saw what didn't;t work under Jose and Conte.
He may be the best person to actually make positive changes.
The actual performances and tactical battles are another thing admittedly.
I guess people know he wants the Spurs job and he’s wait to know what happens here. You’re right though, Swans would be perfect for him.Yeh, but nobody seems to be looking at him why?

If he's happy remaining just a part of the coaching setup, yes. If he wants to be head coach one day then now could be a good time to go off and learn his chops somewhere. I love his ambition and think that if he wants to realise it then it probably won't happen in the background at Spurs.I’d like to keep him at the club in a coaching capacity. I thought he talked very well yesterday and it’s clear he has a real and more importantly ‘genuine ‘ affection for the club , he gets the issues and knows what needs to be done but ultimately Levy needs to act on Masons advice .
ENIC to be preciseI hate what the club does to us
Guess i just dont like to indulge in mediocrity and not happy with 2 wins in 6, football is all about results; nothing simplistic about that, and even tactically I have seen mason completely schooled by emery and frank, whats narrowmind about wanting better?
I think mason can be a decent coach but needs to go a learn the trade, way off being ready for a top job
