3? The goons had 3 - we should have 4 or 5 !!!

Sir Bill Nic is a given - and not included in this player list:

Blanchflower
Mackay
Greaves
Hoddle
King (lifting this years title)

Cant possibly have Greaves and not Jones IMO.

And Mackay has to be number one. He saved Blanchflower et al a*rse many times.

 Audere neg repped me calling me an "Idiot lickspittle" for suggesting BAE.

Audere - I suggest you click the top of the page, where there's plenty of weird www's and dots, (it's called the address bar  ) and delete everything there. Then write "www.amazon.co.uk". Upon doing that, have a 5 minute rest as I'm sure your brain will be tired by now. At the recommencement of this exercise, there's a little blank search box. Search for this book, and then come back and apologize.

The neg was a bit harsh, but he's right, as lickspittles go, you aren't the brightest one i ever met

Can't argue with that, but I bet I could make a better referee than Chris Foy. (I'm not getting over that one in a while).

I have taken the time to read and ingest said book. I now realise where I went wrong and I have had a word with myself.

I am sorry for my actions. If you said Timothy Atouba I would probably have got it.

For what it's worth Kendall neg repped for saying BIll Nick not Nicholson, I might lend him the book. This did make me laugh so maybe I am learning.

Messi, Iniesta and Pique.

Then all we have to do is make them Tottenham players - but erecting a statue to them would have to help the negotiations surely?

I would say Benny, but the afro would take up the high road.
Could have Mackay and Bremner...but leave out the Bremner...so it's Mackay threatening anyone nearby...
Maybe that one of Wenger's Arse Shaving just for giggles...
Also one of JJ...just for our unhappy moments.
Maybe we could have one Pleat...you press a button and it offers a Pleatism.
Another one could be Keano flapping...

I hope it was a solemn word you had with yourself! Kendall neg reps most people. I wouldn't worry too much about his repping techniques. Did you know he's banned from having mirrors in his home as his neighbours complained about social disturbance what with all the rows he's had with himself? True Story.

Was that Al Fayed's thought process when he erected Michael Jackson outside Craven Cottage? Maybe he was set to hold a seance and thought it would help push MJ's ghost forward

Arthur Rowe, don't know what he was like as a Spurs player but was the architect of "Push and Run" as manager of 1950 side. That side was what Bill Nick played in as full back, and where he learnt his trade. Bill Nick saw how effective it was, but Arthur was the genius who created it

Bill Nick was half back alongside Ron Burgess never a full back those were Alf Ramsey and Withers or Willis

Though, seeing as the Goons have just unveiled the statue of Henry, I think of him celebrating a goal against us I'd maybe want one of Danny Rose celebrating his volley

Yes, the Gooners there commemorating a time when scoring a goal then running the length of the pitch to slide on your knees in celebration in front of the other team's fans was a sign of a player's undeniable amazingness and not THE WORST THING A HUMAN BEING COULD EVER DO.

Blanchflower.... he emodied everything about Tottenham that is right with football. I wish I born when he was playing the double season. He was a brilliant player and a wonderful man

Three is just too small a number, but - assuming that (Sir) Bill has his own category (and Arthur Rowe can be in it with him), here goes.

I wanted to say Mackay, but thought that it would be better to spread it over the years rather than limit it to one era, and you have to have Blanchflower. I've picked two outstanding one-club men to go with him.

Blanchflower
Perryman
King Ledley

Give me another three statues and I'll have Mackay, Greaves and Hoddle. But that ignores earlier eras and the likes of Vivian Woodward and Ron Burgess.

We've just had too many great players to make a complete choice. About twenty statues should be enough.....

Can see where you are coming from - But with Jimmy being club top scorer and regarded as one of the greatest finishers ever (unfortunately i am too young to have witnessed them in action apart from the odd black and white clip).
As for the Mackay/ Blanchflower position - the only reason i have Blanchflower top is i love my flair football and all i have read about Blachflower and Mackay, Danny embodies all i love in the game with his passing, vision and skill. And while Mackay may have been the driving force behind the team - flair always wins with me..... Sorry.

yep, that's my 3,.... but clearly they would need more than 3 statues, right? Lots of legends left out
