And you don't see this as jumping the gun when professionals, who work with him every day, rate him highly enough to feel he's earned an opportunity to step up to the next level?

Generally on a forum, it's better for discussion and debate if you provide reasons to back up your statements, put a bit of effort in and back up your opinion, giving people a chance to counter or agree. 'He's shit' drops everything to a low level of bickering and makes you look obtuse, grinding everything to a halt. Or something like that, I'm not your damn mother.

We should all get behind our youngsters coming into the squad, not label them as shit and put more pressure on them. We are far to quick to judge at times, give the lad a chance, he's done well in the States and deserved a goal or two, I'm sure he will come good.

Looked like he had a turn of pace in the Red Bulls game, slow last year in his Europa run out, very noticeable change. He obviously has some natural ability, that much is not in question. In sport good coaches do make a difference, as does playing with and against better players, he has all this at Spurs and deserves a chance, sometimes in sport your talent can lay dormant until it is sparked into life, just give him a season or 2 as back up and observe his development.
Only then can we stand in judgement..
