Nickspurs "Can we catch the Spammers" ?

No offense mate but I haven't got over the Geordies wiping the floor with us .

Are you trying to totally depress us ?

Sorry streibs. With all the summer signings and a summer in Rambo camp we'll be cracking the top 4 next season. Onwards and upwards!

Before the Sunday I was pretty much certain that we would finish on 60 points. There's a reason I'm not a gambling man.
That said, we did go on a pretty majestic run at the end of last season to snatch 5th place. Always unpredictable.

Now it's going to be pretty toigh to catch West Ham now. It kind of reminds me of when Arsenal were chasing us a couple of years ago, always slipping up when we did until that last game.

I think if we can get 3 points from Liverpool and West Ham don't take their usual 3 points from United then we could be in with a chance.

I think we will win all of our remaining games. I believe Ramos/Poyet would have intimidated the players enough for them to turn up each week.

Considering the start we made by putting Jol on death row, after was it one or two games, and the fact that we haven't had King except for the crucial League Cup win, this has been a great season.

We messed Jol about but did get possibly better in Ramos.

King for a long time looked to be at the end of his career; if we can have him like the great Paul McGrath, not able to train but able to play the crucial games, we will still have a trump card in our deck for the crucial top four games.

We got Woodgate, Hutton and Bale.

Jenas is still improving all the time and scoring.

We have qualified for Europe so Berbatov may stay for another season and a 3rd chance to win the UEFA, or at least we'll get loads and loads of dosh for him if he doesn't.

We've finally identified goalkeeping as an area for urgent improvement... the signs we're clearly on the wall with Robinson's very poor stats from last seasons comparison to other goalkeepers.

But that the next few matches are crucial.....

if Ramos cannot raise the players over the last few games, including beating Liverpool at White Hart Lane , and to make it into 10th possition ahead of West Ham, then I would not be confident that Ramos can do better than Jol's 5th place in the league next season.

Claim 10th spot and it will make signing better players much easier.

Stay in 11th or dare I say drop to 12th or 13th, and the better players will think more than twice about coming to Spurs.

Can't see it myself, losing to Brum and Newcastle both home and away says it all really. Thats 12 points right there apart from any other shenanigans like letting in late equalisers like Foolham/Liverpool and late winners from way back against Sunderland.

If we do that we will be just 3 points off of last seasons total. That would feel strange seeing this season has been pretty much a write off as far as the league goes.

Yes we can catch them, they're muck!

I don't see why we won't win the rest of our home games unless the team don't give a s**t anymore............. :bang:

Doubt it. Looking at our 2nd half performance the other day, its as if they're already thinking about their summer holidays. Despite the fact that many of them should be fighting for their places.
