I am a Dane and I would love a Danish player at Spurs...but NOT Bendtner!!!
Nobody in Denmark likes him. He is a w****r. He is too obsessed with himself!
Pav is better, which says a lot...

Taking off my hatred for Arsenal I can think more clearly

1) He carried Arsenal last season while Fabregas and Van Persie were injured
2) He has shitloads of confidence and obviously thinks he is brilliant, which is not always a bad thing.
3) He's good at holding the ball up and isn't a bad finisher either. Quite capable of scoring 17-20 goals a season
4) Has scored against big teams, even at the Nou Camp last season

In my personal opinion he is a better version of Kevin Davies and Andy Carroll. Many will disagree with me

Have to agree with this and he wouldn't cost £35m either. I reckon Pav is better but just isn't focused at the moment and he does seem the type that is always complaining about what others are getting rather than just getting on with it. Defoe has flattered to deceive this season too.

TBH if it were up to me I'd recall Keane the day he's passed fit, at least he always puts in a decent shift!

Will always remember the infamous Bendtner vs Adebayor clash at the Lane - two of footballs most likeable fellows *cough* perfectly encapsulated within the boundaries of the glorious club *cough cough* Arsenal - oh how we laughed!

Ahem...Bendtner for Spurs, I don't think so.

He's not shit, he just doesn't really fit into the the Arsenal team so well and doesn't play regularly enough.

When he does he often looks a threat, is strong and can score goals.

I don't like the guy (at all) but he is underrated I feel and he actually has the potential to be a pretty decent player for us if we did sign him.

I don't want him, don't think we could sign him even if we did want him (so this is a non issue) but he is a better player than many give him credit.

Hes better than what we have tbh.

I agree with both statements. If we can sign a better "uber" striker, IE the Torres/Drogba we need then great, but failing that this kid - and let's not forget he's got just about as much top drawer experience as any 23yo - has great technique, a good brain, holds the ball up better than anyone we have and uses it with more intelligence. He's not going to score 25 goals a season, but he will score more than Crouch, create at least as much, works fucking hard for the team and be more conducive to possession retention than just about all of our strikers out together.

And why does attitude bother people ? We don't have enough of it in our team, too many fucking nice guy dormice. He reminds me of Sheringham a bit.

We could do a fuck of a lot worse as a back up option.

He scored 4 goals tonight (one a penalty), I look forward to watching the highlights tonight.

Admittedly, it was vs Leyton Orient!

It was a bit tongue in cheek mate, I dont rate him any higher that the forwards we have so not much point in buying him IMO

Bendtner's contract runs out at the end of next season, we would probably have to wait until then as I don't see us and Arsenal doing business.

He's far from shit thats for sure. I dont like him but that besides the point, he's good at holding the ball up and has a lot of aerial prowess - he can finish.

He's well suited for this League actually and if he was in the right sort of the team playing week in week out I bet he would get 20 league goals.

Arsenal isn't really the right sort of team for him.
