Lets face it, Bendtner has only one speed, one gear - GO!. He has tiger blood and Adonis DNA. If any of us had his brain our faces would melt and our children would weep over our exploded bodies.

So he's got THAT going for him.

In the gand scheme of things, based on premiership, champions league and international standards, he is poor. He scores goals in an Arsenal side that creates chances, but he isnt the answer to our problems and would not score many in a poorer side.
I think Elmander is a better footballer and would offer us more - not that he's the answer either.
If the question is what striker or pair of strikers can fire us to league and champions league glory, then the answer is certainly not an Arsenal bench warmer.

FFS, Defoe scored one less goal in open play against Charlton.

I think the main point should of been that he actually scored a penalty!!!

I think he has talent, albeit not as much as he thinks. Is good in the air and can score goals. I can see him moving on from Arsenal for regular football soon, unless starts playing more. But does have most of the attributes we would want for a striker, especially if playing 4-4-1-1.
