Thought Kane has looked good apart from the penalty miss. By far our most enterprising player on the pitch tonight.

We could do with getting support up to him a bit quicker. He's often had to turn and try and do it all himself.

Townsend looks like a man who knows he's off. Showing quite a poor attitude really particularly compared to Paulinho and Lennon who are at least working hard.

When you thought Townsend couldn't get any worse, he proves us wrong.

You would think after his inept performance in the away leg and after being left out altogether on Sun, that he would want to prove his doubters wrong... yet he's done the opposite. The quicker he leaves the better.

I would personally tell him that he can only shoot from inside the box now.

I fail to see the attraction of Kane. Disticntlt average if you ask me, A short Peter Crouch

Crouch is 33 years old and still playing. He's scored nearly 200 goals for club and country in a 15 year career during which time he has won an FA Cup, scored at the World Cup, and scored a 30 million pound goal for this club.

If Kane is that average, I'll take it.

I think people just say Paulinho's been "awful" now regardless of how he's playing. He's been far from awful. None of our players, with the exception of Andros could be accused of having a poor game. It's a whole load of 6 out of 10s for everyone but Dembele and Kane.

Also, I think Kane needs to work on his upper body strength. He's a great lad but will get better as he matures and gets stronger.

I think we are being a little harsh - collectively these are the 2nd team, so they are playing with 2nd teamers. Put one of them into the 1st team, and they probably do not look as bad because their teammates would help make them look better.

I missed the first part of the game, but the defense looks decent - I like what I am seeing out of Davies. Chiriches looks just like I remember, generally solid, a little risky with the ball, but can play it out nicely.

Every game we think 'is this the one where he finally shows some intelligence?' but it never seems to materialise. Definitely our most frustrating player.
