Pretty bland performance all in all.

To be honest we're only now slowly getting some cohesion and good play from our first 11 so with changes our play was never going to be what was expected thinking about it in hindsight, which is a shame but that's just how it is.

We have a thin looking squad without much depth of talent or quality back up. Lining up with Vorm, Fazio and Carroll has ultimately cost us two goals. We also didn't really look like troubling Ospina for all our possession.

I'm not too devastated about being knocked out but I think the squad is concerning for the rest of the season. I think we really did need to sign another genuine striker and an experienced midfield player in the previous window.

Mediocre performance against a really poor Arsenal team. Both goals gifted (albeit he had a lot to do on the 2nd).

Rose MOTM for me. Gives you that extra attacking dimension that Davies lacks. Wimmer and Dier did well tonight.

The less said about Fazio the better. Terrible idea to play him.

how on earth could we exit a cup competition we so realistically of winning by playing some 2nd stringers and 1st time pairing of CBs with one that seems so lacking of match fitness??

and now we seem to have a Knackered Kane who still could not score, demoralising him further to a big game on Saturday.. well done

Oh well, at least it wasn't in the league. I don't think we'll beat City with the inevitable loss in confidence this defeat will bring.

Really frustrating season so far because I don't think we're generally playing poorly. We just can't put it together in the final third, and we get punished for literally every mistake we make at the back.

Pathetic. Only Poch to blame for this result.

I hope all the 'rest players for City' people are happy - we better beat City now or we've thrown away the easiest chance of silverware, at home, to our disgusting rivals, for absolutely nothing. In fact we better finish top four to justify this shameful result.

I know he's already been mentioned, but seriously, imagine Dawson in this team with his experience as a back up CB. Fucking ridiculous. Fazio isn't even quick anyway so it was completely pointless.

With you biglad, we swapped Dawson for this lump, even Dawson's biggest detractors would say this was a dumb move... @thinktank ?

Early days but N'Jie looks pretty awful.

Wimmer seems like a good buy. Dier is now one of the first names on the team sheet.

Fazio and Vorm need to move on. Not good enough.

With our lack of strikers and defensive midfielders and Pochs lack of rotation probably not the end of the world.

We tried but didn't have enough quality in the end.

Another 90 mins to make Kane and Dier more tired before Saturday.

We lost today due to unnecessary rotation...

We've had the chances, we've dominated possession.

I'm strangely not bothered. I've rarely been less expectant of Spurs. If Levy won't back us in the transfer market, then why put unrealistic expectations on the team and ruin my evening?

Poch tires out Kane, Dier and Eriksen, but plays a back 5 that's so shaky, that it's barely worth gambling on starting our first team forwards.

That being said, great strike by Flamini.

Picking Lloris and Alderweireld against Qarabag and then throwing this game with that unacceptable team selection = stunning level of stupidity. Really amazing.

Shit result but I'm not unhappy with the performance. Kane in form and we win that easy. And he will find that form.

Carroll needs to go back into the championship and get a full season of football under his belt. He wasn't awful (like Fazio), just abject. I'd have rather seen winks come on or Alli replace him earlier.
I live in derby and carroll is seen as one of the worse players derby have had on loan in the last 10 years.did nothing up here.

Commentator on sky audibly disappointed when Walcott shot wide. Fucking joke.

Worst Arsenal side Ive ever seen win at the lane EASILY.

Team looked wrong from before kick off but I was willing to give Poch benefit of doubt. Fazio and Vorm obviously not good enough. Still think Carroll gets a hard time and did ok. If Lloris and Vertonghen play I cant see how we would have lost.

All will be forgiven if we beat City saturday. I Can't see it.
