Until we ditch this chicken shit mentality that allows us to lose regularly to shit teams at home doesn't matter who the manager is.

Utterly depressing result but let's face it, not exactly surprising. Such a gutless mentality, unless it changes we're going round in circles.

Poch imo will be judged next season. it will be interesting to see if he is backed in players he wants to bring in Fazio + Stambouli look to be deadwood did he want them? this is the problem nobody seems to know who bought who AVB didn't want half the players we got with the Bale money i just pray that we get Poch the players he wants to fit the system he wants to play.otherwise itl be another false dawn......which by now should come as no surprise.

Lol at everyone getting so butthurt over Sherwood. Just like he wants it. Fair play to him, came here and completely out did Poch for the 3rd time in a row. Proved alot of our clueless fans right anyway thats for sure.

This cant go on , if no improvement from start to mid season i can see pooch becoming another statistic and you know what i can see levy eyeing up a certain ex Newcastle man now working wonders in south london . You heard it here first
If pooh goes , i not saying we will not improve but if he did who would actually feel they would want to go there , what ever you think of the person hes gone to a team looking relegation in the face and beats spurs and man city at home very unlucky to lose against arsenal unbeaten away at home and as meny years PL experiance , hes far from my cup of tea also .

Who can he pick though? Lamela, Capoue, Stambouli, Paulinho, Dembele are hardly setting the world alight.
stambouli has hardly played, lamela hasn't looked any worse than the dross we had to endure pull on the shirt recently, dembele despite not being creative offers far more protection than mason, i think the issue is more with the system and shape than personnel anyway, i don't think we have a squad capable of achieving top 4 but we should be able to give villa and burnley a tough game, i knew seeing both starting 11 we would be crap. as did many other posters.

Players like Fazio and Stambouli. Who actually wanted those two? That's about 13m offering 0 to the team

Was it Poch or was it baldin?

can add davies to that list
Whilst imo Fazio and Stambouli were average signings, Davies has allowed Rose to kick on and when he is injured we have reliable cover instead of playing Jan out of position or playing Naughton there. Perhaps we paid too much but he has been a useful signing.

perhaps, but he seems to have knack of making Poch the butt of the joke.

Some managers just have that over others though don't they. I remember Pardew beating Wenger a few times in a row same with Allardyce.

Genuinely didn't think Villa were anything other than lucky and wasted a lot of time, we were poor but I saw nothing special from Sherwood or his team.

Townsend is just awful, truly awful the thing is i just cant decide if its the tactics or the players just being bang average and failing to understand and carry them out. 3 bad results and some of the worst football ive seen in quite some time....just simply no desire.

Tactics??? Seriously, what tactics, we are clueless

If one thing is clear, Poch only trusts a select few players. His reluctance to use any of the subs he had selected before the 75th, when everything we had seen before was dire, proves that.

I don't disagree, but if that is the case, he'll need significant time to get the squad he wants (assuming Levy obliges). I'm not convinced we (Levy or the fans) will give him that time.

We have had good run from some unexpected players they now need to be rested/rotated.
We though do need to stop looking to Townsend and Lamela to solve our problems down the right they are not good enough.

Agree, but not so much because they are not good enough, more that Andros is a left-winger and Eric is a supporting striker.

The theory that townsend and Chadli are only in the team because they are on some sort of trial to prove themselves seems like straw-clutching in the extreme.
I really hope to see some changes next game, and also I promise everyone I'll never make kane my fantasy league captain again.

Its been going on for years mate only harry got close to creating a more winning mentality and even that was hit and miss at times.
I hope Im wrong but i cant see poch being the man to turn it round as his tactics and set up dont really work plus the players look to have stopped playing.

The debate about whether Poch wanted the average players who arrived last summer. I think yes I don't think managers here get players forced on them. Suggested maybe but not signed against their wishes.
It suited AVB, who is a camp event, to claim the crap that arrived wasn't his fault but I don't think that's true. It was him that demanded Soldado, who anyone could see doesn't have the pace or power for the PL.

They were cheap so we bought them just like Adebayor. They just fitted our budget. Poch wanted Musacchio and schneiderlin. I have no idea what Baldini does. Ian Bloomfield is the chief scout so maybe he is the one suggesting them.
