Ankle ligaments is 6 weeks for a regular guy. I guess 4 weeks for Bale. With the blood-machine.

2 weeks if he is willing to play on injections .... but that is bloody risky.

The worst thing is that I have 500 quid on Bale for top scorer in the PL which was never on but is certainly off now. That said Bale is a machine and I woudn't be surprised if he's back sooner than we all think.

Get ceballos in the team give the lad a run! I'm as concerned at lennons hamstring also , I think bale has a severe ankle role 3 weeks for him id say considering he's a machine and its his right foot which he only uses for standing

You know, in a perverse, obviously rationalizing way, I am somehow looking forward to the next few weeks more now. It was showing all the signs of being a white-knuckle ride, with a possible let-down at the end, but as things stand now I have absolutely no expectations. Thus, any results we get will feel all the sweeter.

Thank fuck I live in the US now, so I can take refuge in baseball if the wheels completely fall off.

Friedel, Parker, Gallas, Adebayor, Walker, Defoe, amd Dempsey should all be shipped off in the summer.

Sorry I may have phrased it badly. I have 5 pounds on Bale at 100/1. So 500 coming in, if he got it.
