Last week he fielded the reserve team, and rested the starters to play the worst team in the PL. Now that we are already 3-0 down, he will use starters for what?? On top of that we have a more difficult match against Bournemouth than the one we had against Villa.
It would've been wiser to field a first team last week, and if the result was bad, rest them today. We are not going to win 4-0 today

I have to admit I'll be pretty pissed off if he goes with a strong side tonight, after last weeks selection - just think it would be totally backwards. I was fuming with the selection last week, more so because I had made the trip out there which, despite being a class trip away, everyone was gutted when the team news came through. Ended up getting rid of my ticket for tonight after being so angry with the team, well that and because I did my bollocks in Germany .

If we had something to play for, if we had nicked an away goal I would be all for going strong tonight - even it was 2-0, I'd be happy for us to go for it. But I think being 3 down to probably the best team left in the comp, I would just play a similar team and tell them to try and make up for the shit result and performance of the away leg and keep the big guns fresh for a tough game on Sunday.

Probably best to accept he has a fuck tonne more information available as to the current conditioning of our squad than you do.
