To be fair not to many will beat Chelsea this season. Arsenal got nowhere near them a couple of weeks ago. Defence mistakes aside though we will not lose too many this season if we can keep our best team together.

On a side note still not convinved that Hudd or Livermore have anything to add to our squad. Huddlestone was extremely poor in first half and looks a third of the player he once was. Sandro was also very sloppy in the first half but improved.

Should have brought on Adebayor when we were 2-1. Despite him not being on form, we just couldn't get hold of the ball for the 5 minutes before Mata's goal. We actually started looking better with the shape when he did come on, and Defoe was looking dangerous cutting in from wide. The horse had already bolted though.

Should have made our dominance pay and got the third, different story then :/

Can we please soon just use our strongest XI, Lloris, Ade, and even Naughton

So Hugo Lloris holds the only clean sheet of the season for us. Then he plays on international duty against the best team in modern football at the Vicent Calderon, and is the man of the match. We promptly drop him in favor of a 41 year old, out of contract player who has conceded in every game this season. Friedal promptly gives up 4 goals.

How the hell can AVB justify Friedal going forward? Does he need to concede 10 goals in a game? 15? Does he need to throw the ball in his own net? What will it take?

Why are you digging out Friedel? Take a long hard look at our defending!!

With Kaboul, Dembele and Bale I'm convinced we would have won today. We are still far to open when playing better teams.

Against Manure we defended as a unit and won the game yet 2 weeks later we were all over the place and 4 could and should have been 5, 6 or 7.

Gave a good account of ourselves in the second half, I'm pleased with that. Could have done without the fourth goal but I guess a defeat by two goals is pretty much the same as a defeat by one.

Onwards and upwards from here I hope.

Granted Lloris should have played, but Freidel can't be blamed for that defeat in isolation. Gallas was utter shite. Walker is too hot and cold and the lack of pace killed us today

Considering we had no Dembele or Bale, attacking wise I thought we were good and showed good character. Defensively we were poor, Walker as far as I am concerned has been poor for a while.

4-2 doesn't represent the balance of play just the quality on the field. Mata is top draw as are Oscar and Hazard. We played well and probably deserved a draw but not to be. Gallas definitely passed it, Walker needs a bit of help from the coaching team and Lloris needs to come in. After this still feel the futures pretty bright.

okey i can admit that gallas doesnt did his best game of the season. but when "LIVERMOORE" steps in the midfield was totaly out of the game. no movment, bad passes and the other players went passiv. Please send Livermoore as far away as possible horrible fotballer. so mad at the moment!!!

I want to slap Kyle Walker.

And I've been calling for Dawson to be picked ahead of Gallas since the start of the season. Can't see how any can doubt the wisdom of that now.

Verts was bloody amazing, again.

What superb start? He should have done better with pretty much every goal we have conceeded and also could have stopped us being under as much pressure in the final part of games by actually coming off his line.

I'm not saying this to have a dig at the guy, he is a solid player but that is it. On the other hand Lloris is the French international captain, courted by about every big club in Europe at some point, yet he is on the bench after playing magnificently against Spain.
The saves against Qpr wba and Norwich saved us 4 pts. Every goal he has conceded has been down to horseshit defending. Today included.the fact he doesnt come off his line has cost us nothing.

I fucking hate it when we have these games at midday. Completely ruins the rest of the weekend's football for me. Won't be able to watch any of it now.
