Well Spurs defenders once again prove the rule that footballers are as thick as shit, every single Chav goal was down to worse than schoolboy defending, fucking joke, so fucked off those ****s have won that game :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Was in a good mood until I come a read all this shit, glad I didn't/can't watch it.

Weekend spoiled.

So Hugo Lloris holds the only clean sheet of the season for us. Then he plays on international duty against the best team in modern football at the Vicent Calderon, and is the man of the match. We promptly drop him in favor of a 41 year old, out of contract player who has conceded in every game this season. Friedal promptly gives up 4 goals.

How the hell can AVB justify Friedal going forward? Does he need to concede 10 goals in a game? 15? Does he need to throw the ball in his own net? What will it take?

Not one of those goals was the fault of the keeper, the defending for all four was absolutely abysmal, a Sunday league team could have scored four against us today!! Walker needs a good hard kick up the arse and Gallas needs to be used only in emergencies!!

okey i can admit that gallas doesnt did his best game of the season. but when "LIVERMOORE" steps in the midfield was totaly out of the game. no movment, bad passes and the other players went passiv. Please send Livermoore as far away as possible horrible fotballer. so mad at the moment!!!
Yeah I mean, it's not like we took Hudd off because he was exhausted out there and couldn't get the ball...

Think we just have hold our hands up and say we were beaten by the better side today. Thought Gallas, Walker and Sidurdsson were very poor today. I think unfortunately di matteo is proving a lot of people wrong! But If you had offered me 6 points from Man Utd Villa and Chelsea I would have taken it.

But Friedel doesn't make mistakes and is always willing to give interviews so the journos love him. Ok so he doesn't come for crosses, leaves dangerous balls into the box for his defenders, is slow off his line and often can't even be arsed to dive but he had a great record going that a horrible arrogant young portugese upstart ruined. We can't drop him until he makes at least 311 consecutive starts

The only good thing I can take away from this is that Chelsea are top of the table and are in the best in the league at the moment. Despite that, I'm still horrified by our lack of creativity and poor organisation at the back. Can't stress how much I miss Kaboul. :(

No to Dawson coming back in. He was terrible last time he played.

Desperately need Kaboul, or rather, BAE back. In fact, who cares, drop Walker in favour of someone from the youth team. He needs a kick up the arse.

Alright, next game I want Naughton in at left back, Vertonghen central with Gallas relegated to the bench. Most of all though I want Lloris in for Friedel.

I'd have said bring in Ade for Defoe as well but after that performance I'm not so sure.

gallas managed to mistime every single fecking thing from his chance in the first minute to his two headers for the first and his clearance for the second he can't make a proper connection with the ball. Sunday league stuff. We were quite poor tbh but I didn't think Chelsea were much better. obviously missed our two best players. seems like Adebayor is behind Defoe in the pecking order which is mystifying. Putting brad back in again was odd as well.

I'm going for a brisk walk now to get the anger out of my system!
yep - not sure I agree with a lot of the targets of lost match bile here, but here's mine:

1- Siggi looks way out of his depth, squad player at best
2- Defoe is not an effective lone ranger/target man
3- Gallas had a few howlers and is a liability against top teams
4- Wrong subs - THudd and Dempsey have more will to compete in their pinkie fingers than,... well, naming names later
5- Adebayor looked almost TOTALLY uninterested in playing
6- Vertonghen is world class and really should be the made team Captain right now
7- Put Lloris in now if you like, but Friedel, yet again, was not the reason Spurs lost today

I do agree with all the frustration out there as Spurs should have won today. Bale out was huge,.... combined with Dembele out hurt too. THudd did very well, but Siggi on the pitch instead of Bale was too much to overcome. Gallas is just past it for the big teams.

That's my spin -- COYFS!!!!! :chicken:

it hurts but really good game to be honest, just at the back we are shit!

Friedel, and Gallas looked their age, really no right to play in the top flight on that performance, the kind of display were you think they should call it quits

walker was as shocking as he has always been defensively, he is just being shown up this season because our midfield isnt quite as solid and controlling as it was

Caulker to raw to be thrown into a game like this, out of his depth

roll on verts going back into centre, Kaboul returning along with BAE and scott parker. Naughton should probably get a run.

was surprisingly impressed with sigg, thought he looked quite silky, no Rafa (god i miss him so much!) but quite good.
defoe was also very good, Adebayor played like a poor mans peter crouch
scary that we have to bring on Jake Livermoore when huddlestone runs out of steam, couple of new central midfields needed in Jan, otherwise we'll have this problem in everytime Dembele misses a game

don't think Friedel was the issue frankly, Gallas is a huge defensive mistake. he is sloppy and always making bad decisions. friedel really couldn't have done any better. 3 of the goals were from Gallas mistakes, and Walker was the last. Not Friedels fault.

back line needs to be rejigged, need vertonghen and caulker at the back, outside of walker and gallas i think everyone played well and showed great industry, when i saw our starting line up i gave us no hope, i'm just happy the lads gave me a large amount of hope before the inevitablhappened, mom for me would be vertonghen

we have a lots of reasons to be optimistic

line up for next game:

lloris

walker caulker vertonghen naughton
lennon dembele sandro bale
sigurdson
adebayor

I'm surprised we created as much as we did, to be honest with Bale out. Think we had more attempts than them, Cech had loads to do. It was just our defending that let us down. Can't really fault anything else.

How does anyone expect us to challenge top 4 with a performance like that? Honestly, not overreaction but this season is and will be nothing but top 10....unless we massively recruit in Jan ..that's as good as it gets.

Walker is really out of sorts. Naughton deserves a few games.

All in all, we didn't perform too badly against a vastly superior Chelsea team (considering our absentees). Oh, what I'd give for just one of Mata, Hazard or Oscar. Chelsea have got all three the lucky ****s. If they go and get Falcao in the window they will clean up this year.

Our lack of inteligence bar sheer pace is a real worry. Dempsey and Siggy look scared of their shadows. Would prefer to see Falque or GDS given a go in the VdV role.

Onwards and upwards. COYS.

Its very boring seeing people use the cost of the opposition team as an excuse, awful mentality.

We weren't out played and they never had any real period of sustained pressure, the team simply didn't perform and some in particular were awful.
