Did Bruce set up his team in a way that was doomed to fail from the start, or did his tactics completely nullify a team away from home which has far more talent in their squad than his. If its the former then it was Bruce's fault they lost, if its the latter then it his players' fault and not his tactics (or wittiness ) .

It's worrying how much we are relying on certain players to play every game for us- Verts, Paulinho and Walker must all be bloody knackered! Everton away is not a game to be going into if youre not 100%. Hopefully Capoue is fit enough to do a job if Paulinho isn't right, but Verts and Walker are nailed-on starters and are gonna have to content and keep-up with Baines and Coleman overlapping them- 2 of the best, most energetic fullbacks in the league...

The game put me in mind of a good looking lass with cracking jubblies that are fun for fifteen minutes but after that you realise she's got a bit of a gut and a muff-drowned minge. As it were.

In other words, there was a fair bit of promise there but then it all got a bit ugly after that. Flashes of brilliance but all in all, plenty of work to do.

The lack of width from the wing backs during recent games meant I didn't know what to do with myself when Jan moved to LB and fired a couple of balls across the face of goal. Even Younes got in on the act, which was promising.
