Just read through some of the pages in here and I have to say:

SOME OF YOU ARE EMBARRISING WITH YOUR CHILD LIKE ATTITUDES!!

Man up and realise that we have a bloody young team (which is improving) but as a result it will bring inconsistencies. Get behind the manager and more importantly the team!!

I read some comments suggesting we should sack our manager!! You people are the reason we (unlike united and arsenal) have never had an actual manager last here!!

Support the team and realise that our manager knows more than us all, he sees the players every day(well almost) and we see them for 90 mins and we think we know more about each of them then he and his staff do!! Do me a favour and get another hobby if you honestly think this!!

3 wins in last 4 and your moaning like kids!!

Look, I admire your loyalty and your sunny outlook.

But there is nothing wrong with us criticising massive problems and poor performances. Ignoring them would just be burying our heads in the sand. We have chronic problems with the defence and only 4 teams in the league have conceded more than we have - do you really think that's not worthy of comment?

Anybody calling for the manager's head is obviously premature and daft, but having complete faith in the face of severe flaws is naive.

I think we're all keen to improve and not just maintain the status quo of 5th-7th place every season and most are very keen on Poch, just very worried about potential blindspots. Perhaps you could allow others to express their opinions without making it personal Samson. If you're not worried about our defensive frailties, fair play to you. I am.

But it ain't a toss up. Townsend is more of a problem to our dynamic than Lamela was, that's the point - if you read my original post.

Our dynamic looked ok vs Chelsea when we had the same front 4. I would say Townsend work rate isn't that bad it's certainly better than chadlis .
I think it more of a case that pochettino gave lamela a run and he didn't really deliver and now he is giving Townsend a run in the side

Look, at the end of the day we looked a better side with Dembele, Lamela and Eriksen as the three instead of Chadli, Eriksen and Townsend. We pressed much better and the way we played against Arsenal was the stand out game under Poch, even the Liverpool performance was good.

Lamela and Dembele were delivering in that period, absolutely they were. Yes Chadli is a goal threat but we just don't look anything like we did a month ago, particularly off the ball.

I think most reasonably knowledgeable fans can discern the differences between now and a month or so ago.

Pochettino has certainly given us our Spurs back! :ROFLMAO: I'll take a mad 4-3 win over 1-0 with 90% possession and 700 backwards passes any day. COYS

18 months ago people were calling for AVB's head because of the sterile football.

WE GOT OUR TOTTENHAM BACK.. 7 goal thrillers, 0-3 thumpings - YOU GOT WHAT YOU ASKED FOR!

Well, some of us have anyway.

But, some of you don't actually know what your Tottenham is, because, it would seem that unless we win every game 4-0 with 70% possession; some 'fans' ain't happy.

I'm personally pretty satisfied with this season and want Poch to be here past his present deal so he can complete his project.

I'm sick of upheaval, sick of a team full of robots - time to back the coach, back the academy, back Tottenham Hotspur.

I want him to revert back to the side of last month, where we looked much better balanced. There isn't just two options you know - lottery football and sterile 1-0's. There's a hell of a lot of middle ground, and that's what we were seeing last month. High intense pressing, swarming all over the opposition and producing some really fluid football whilst not looking as brittle as we look now.

Roll on next season and I'll continue to back Pochettino and will refrain from any kind of real judgement until at least this time next season but it has concerned me a bit that he's changed to what looked like a winning formula for something that doesn't look half as good - and he's still persisting with it inexplicably.

You can't do it every game mate - no team can. Shitty, Manure, Chavs, PSG, Real, Barca - None of them can.

You're living in dreamland my friend.

Eh? Do what in every game?

I'm referring to the way we've played since he changed the team. We're shipping goals left, right and center.

We certainly were not looking as brittle as we do now, our pressing was far better last month.

Think you've missed the point.

No I was responding to what you said..

I agree, the defence is a shambles - 2 reasons for me..

Walker and Vertonghen are massively out of form, knackered or both.

We still don't have a tough tackling DM in there to break up opposition play despite the merits of both Mason and Bentaleb.

Scoring 5 against the probable champions was better in IMO when Townsend and chadli started.
We have had maybe 3 very good performances all season and I would say Townsend and lamela were not the stand out performers .
It's your opinion we looked a better side with lamela and dembele in it, we've had a few terrible performances with them playing too. The way I see it we have been patchy all season, when we are in the mood we press like mad and look great , when we don't press we look very average.
What are all these great matches you remember a month or so ago ? I can only remember the arsenal match where we were amazing

You do know that in the month of February we only won 1 game out of the 5 games we played and kept no clean sheets?

If you had told me this time last season that next year i'd be cursing Kyle Walker and marvelling at Danny Rose's brilliance, i'd have said 'yeah, and i bet you think Harry Kane will be the best striker in the premier league too'.

You really cannot predict anything in football.

I would say its the majority opinion. And the games against Sheffield United away, West Brom, Arsenal and Liverpool were all pretty much consecutive games, it was that period were we looked a more balanced side and we started to build a bit of momentum and then he changes it, inexplicably.

The Chelsea game was a weird one. For once we took all our chances. We attacked well but it didn't feel like the Arsenal performance, nowhere near it in terms of the way we were playing as a team.

To me I thought it was really obvious, he had found the blueprint and the best personnel to implement it.

If it was not for Kane's amazing solo effort that day which lifted everyone that game could of been very different hazard was not far from man of the match. Townsend in front of walker is a bad idea. Walker was protected by Lennon for a long time he needs that help either from our cm's or his RW .

Put it this way if we had a Matic things would be slot sturdier. As good as Mason and Bentaleb are they need to be put in with a destroyer of sorts to learn their trade. Far too much on their young shoulders.

Thought we were piss poor vs sheff u away( 2-2 vs league 1 side ) but I did think he would stick with dembele in the 10 role as I thought barring west ham he looked the part.
Pochettinos decisions do baffle me, dembele , stamboli were starting to look the part then he drops them completely and he keeps playing certain players no matter how bad they play
