Its clear that there is much work to be done and that this manager needs time to sort out issues from the previous regime and some of his own.
Our season so far reminds me a bit of when brenda rodgers Took over at Liverpool from King kenny, there was bad habits a average players that needed shipping out to implement the system and tactics.
But like poch he too had a bad first season with goals being conceded and poor defeats, i think they finished ninth.
But then fast forward a season or two and they were simply superb and impressive last year falling a fraction short of champions.
At the moment we have gone down hill or off the boil in recent weeks losing CC final without offering up much at all, then blowing out of Europe plus we are far far to soft at the moment looking like we will concede every time a team goes forward.
If we are still like this next year then we have a right to dig him out until then Im not going to say too much and see what happens this summer, now i just want this season to end.

Rodgers would've failed at Liverpool without nearly 100 million pounds of net spending being afforded to him. If Henry made him operate under a buy to sell transfer policy (like Poch has to deal with), he likely wouldn't have Coutinho, Sturridge, Allen, Mignolet in his current side, which means they'd have finished 8th or worse last season.

He has spent more since suarez left a bit like we did with bale of which a few of theirs havent settled yet.
Poch hasnt got that bad a team to work with unfortunatly the set up isnt right at the moment, which we can all see with the deluge of goals we are conceding.
I dont see why he cant achieve something similar with us as Liverpool are not exactly streets ahead of us regardless of where we both finish.

Go to offensive and try again.
Harry Kane top of the player chart, sounds about right or do disagree with that as well?
The other player's you have mention have hardly played and that's why there up there, the stats are done on averages, I take it you know what that means?

I know what prick means (y)
The reason those players didn't play much is because they were terrible when they played, so how do they have good stats?
Lamela gets dispossessed or loses the ball (bad touch)on average 4 times per game compared to townsends 3.2 (PL) according to that site.
So after all your little snipes about stats your wrong anyway:)

So you know how to read, great that makes things a lot easier.
How do the key passes, tackling, passing and all the other stats line up?
If you think being dispossessed 0.8 times per game warrants a start above another player, then shouldn't Harry be dropped?

But that wasn't my point was it?
My point was that although lamela has a few assists and has good work rate, he loses the ball too much , quite often in dangerous areas and this is why he's not in the team ATM IMO .
I'm not making a case for Townsend to stay in the team either I don't think either are good enough for us at this point but you would already know this if you read my previous posts, you can read can't you? I know you cant process information but reading is ok?

No your point was he loses the ball 50% of the time.
Would you like me to quote that for you?
I want him to revert back to the side of last month, where we looked much better balanced. There isn't just two options you know - lottery football and sterile 1-0's. There's a hell of a lot of middle ground, and that's what we were seeing last month. High intense pressing, swarming all over the opposition and producing some really fluid football whilst not looking as brittle as we look now.

You really should check the facts about the "last month". On the basis that you mean February where we were fucking terrible. Oh, unless beating Arsenal, going out out the EL and scoring a last minute leveler at home to the mighty West Ham is a sign of a better "balanced" side. We also shipped another nine goals in just five games.

Comedy Gold
I'm talking about the team that played against SU, West Brom, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Instead of trotting that out every single time I make the point, its easier to say the team of around a month ago, most people get that. The team that had Dembele, Lamela and Eriksen behind kane.

Was that the same line up against West Ham? No it wasn't.

So maybe you should have a wee think before you get all excited.

O.K. from now on we will all take it that by a month you truly mean, that it can mean, anything you want it to mean to meet your rhetoric.

Whether the spend is nett or gross we still blew 100 million. I don't want to labor the point but right now i'd swap Coutinho, Sturridge, Allen, in a heartbeat for some of the dross that Levy wrote a cheque for and some.

Thanks all, much appreciated. Just came out of nowhere and a huge shock despite her being 86.
