Just watching the analysis on MOTD and we really need a new right back in the summer. Walker's defending has always been questionable but he is taking it to a whole new level this season. Almost makes me wish for the return of Paul Stalteri or Noe Pamarot  Vlad in for the rest of the season and then see if we can get Southampton to part with Clyne.

Also, forgot about the nice bit of play from Chadli for the own goal and a peach of a cross he put in for Kane. He had a bad game but there were a few glimpses that the Chadli of the first half of the season is there somewhere. Think we should use as an impact sub for rest of the season as I'm not sure he is mentally there after his father's death.

Lamela, Dembele and Chiriches for Townsend, Chadli and Walker next week please Poch.

Yep, I thought the same thing - those two misses were so glaring they sort of overshadowed everything else for me at the time but that cross in particular was lovely. Like you, i'd use him sparingly for the rest of the season - he was in such great form and seems to have been hit for six by his dad's death. Don't want to completely crush his confidence by making him play now in such a slump.

There's no next week though - we're 'international break-ing'. ;)

So, what do we think - will Bentaleb end up with a ban for that slap? It's powderpuff stuff really, but they do seem stupidly strict regarding raised hands...
He will if the red didn't see it, but may not be a bad thing for him to spend a bit of time watching as his form has dipped.

I prefer watching the matches with my eyes. His passing may not give the ball away 50% of the time but when the ball gets passed into him I would say he either takes too long on it and gets bullied out off the ball or runs into someone a lot of the time but they don't show up on your precious passing stats do they?
Yes they do try reading.

Having now seen it on MOTD, Chadli had two golden chances. Thanks Phil Neville too as I didn't know Walker was the one marking Carrick last week for that goal! As for Lloris' injury, international break so hopefully time to recover. Also, as much as Walker is off his game it was hardly intentional. He went to block the shot and collided with Hugo. Blame him for the goals sure, but not the injury.
I'd need to see it again but didn't the original chance come from Walker doing something wrong?

Do you think one of Utd, Arsenal or Liverpool will lose three game out of their last nine for us to nick 4th place from them? Sorry but this is an end of season kick about and he could have played kids or some of the fringe players. The current 1st team is already thinking of the beach

I don't know neither do you. The attitude shouldn't be yours it should be the one I mentioned before. Part of our problem is our attitude and it needs addressing. The whole first team is thinking of the beach? You really think that?

Was out and couldn't watch the game. Saw the score, saw Kane scored a hat-trick, saw Lloris got injured by Walker (will soon see on MOTD how bad it was). Happy to see us win anyway we can today, especially with what's going on right now personally. This is a close knit community so all I'll say is my football loving nan suffered a slight heart attack on Thursday, and things turned today after slight improvements yesterday. Football isn't the most important thing in the world, but if we win it at least lifts the mood for the time being.

Totally agree and I hope she gets better, mate.

But it ain't a toss up. Townsend is more of a problem to our dynamic than Lamela was, that's the point - if you read my original post.

Neither are the reason for the woeful performance of our defending this season and neither are the fix for our attack. Both are dispensable from what i have seen them produce this season. I am fed up with almost men trying to kick a ball to any effect or benefit towards the whole team.

In short busted flushes, and before anyone flames me, as pathetic as Townsend plays every time he makes a start he is still getting in front of Lamela. Think about that for a minute.

Townsend was certainly partly responsible for us being destroyed by United for half an hour down our right side last week. I didn't even notice Townsend today to see if it was the same.

Agreed, the fall he's catching is absurd. Have never known a defender who at some point in his playing days did not collide with another defender or his goalkeeper. Hugo is an aggressive keeper about coming out, and he knew full well the risks of engaging that play. Walker was damned if he didn't stay with Vardy, damned if he did and got his keeper hurt as a result. Ridiculous the shit he's catching.
I want him to revert back to the side of last month, where we looked much better balanced. There isn't just two options you know - lottery football and sterile 1-0's. There's a hell of a lot of middle ground, and that's what we were seeing last month. High intense pressing, swarming all over the opposition and producing some really fluid football whilst not looking as brittle as we look now.
You really should check the facts about the "last month". On the basis that you mean February where we were fucking terrible. Oh, unless beating Arsenal, going out out the EL and scoring a last minute leveler at home to the mighty West Ham is a sign of a better "balanced" side. We also shipped another nine goals in just five games.

Mr Pink: "High intense pressing, swarming all over the opposition and producing some really fluid football whilst not looking as brittle as we look now"

We tried to give the game away as per spursy rules. Pray to our lucky stars Lloris is okay. Im done with Walker. Today did it for me. Im done. Ive been a fan of his for a while, but not anymore. Between last week then injuring Lloris, im fuming. I love Harry Kane with every bone in my body.

I also love alcohol. It is life. The love of my life. All credit goes to Spurs for that one.
Zannys are also clutch. Weed also....i would say god damn yiu spurs but i love it and i chose this life. Your welcome

Yes they do try reading.

I have read the link you put up and I can't find any stats that shows how much a player loses possession only passing stats and by your logic fazio is our 2nd best player by these stats and walker, Kaboul, and capoue also make the top 10:confused::eek:

Go to offensive and try again.
Harry Kane top of the player chart, sounds about right or do disagree with that as well?
The other player's you have mention have hardly played and that's why there up there, the stats are done on averages, I take it you know what that means?
