It has less to do with transfer policy, and more to do with Mason, Bentaleb, and Dembele all carrying knocks at the same time. You can't plan for that type of injury run.

In fairness its to do with both as i said before the window closed that if we didnt get anyone and dier gets an injury we could be stuffed.
Your right it cant be legislated for but this was always going to happen, still nothing can be done about it coys.

Davies is playing because Pochettino considers him the better defender and we're playing against the best attacking team in the league. He's also been part of a defence that has kept three straight clean sheets. I agree that Rose should be first choice, but he has to earn his place back. It would be unfair to drop Davies when he's been playing well.

A bit of trivia but it seems as if at least five Argentines will be involved in this game

Happy with that side, would have thought that Rose would've started, I actually think that Rose is the better defender and the better attacker, but horses for courses and Davies has done pretty well when picked this season. The front 4 is exactly what I wanted, if we can get them to click and Kane find's his shooting boots we look very good.

I can never put a player from a team that plays against spurs in my fantasy team. I'd feel so guilty about it. Anyone else like that?
Would be far too much hassle to only make subs depending on who Spurs are playing.

As for the team, I think Rose should've been in, otherwise I would've picked the same.

It's going to be very, very difficult. The teams that beat Man City tend to either be a) very good and match them in midfield (Juventus) or b) are not as good but defend deep very well and break quickly and with purpose (West Ham). West Ham have also got a tactically intelligent and flexible manager, which sadly we don't have. I don't think our brand of turgid possession football is going to hurt them much and our defence always looks like dropping a bollock against fast powerful forwards such as Aguero, who always does well against us. WHL's a happy hunting ground for Man City too.
If we don't go to pieces early, and Toby and Jan concentrate well, and no silly bugger (walker) attempts a disastrous pass back which Aguero intercepts, or gives away a stupid penalty, we could possibly scrape a draw, 1-1.
If we concede early (likely) it could be 0-3 or 0-4.
I don't enjoy being negative, I really don't. I really, really hope I'm wrong and will be cheering the lads on as ever!

I think maybe another game or two from Rose an he will be back. Poch rarely rushes players back into the starting team

I'm not expecting anything in the way of points, but if we look leggy I will be furious considering the team we played in midweek.

That one touch football between our front 4 is exactly what we need to be doing regularly. Nice to see.
