Superb performance. I was fully expecting us to roll over, but to a man that was exceptional. This young team desperately needed a performance like that to give them the self-confidence to push on, and us fans certainly needed it too.

The media are already making a meal out of Oil Money's missing players, but no mention of us missing our two starting midfielders. Oil Money still had a very strong team out there and we deservedly thrashed them.

Lamela was fantastic today, and I loved how calmly he took his goal.

Special mention for N'Jie. Looks like a real talent.

The point Media miss about Oil Money, is that their 3rd string side is still a capable prem one. Anyway, any proper football fan will know Spurs were excellent today, regardless of Oil Money. The CM2 paring, when all players are fit is going to be an interesting development.

Kane scores, Lamela is MOTM and scores, Njie gets his first assist and looks sharp, Dier continues to dominate and scores, Alli looks at home in the Premier League, Lloris is commanding, the defence were solid as a unit again, we were dangerous from set pieces, and the stadium was absolutely rocking. Can't remember the last time we had so many positives and so little negatives after a game.

COYS.

They're making a bit of a point of talking about the offside goals.
THEIRS was offside.
That's still 2 perfectly good goals to none.

And 3 penalties away last season, most of them were bollocks. And we've had players sent off killing our chances. And Demichelles (sp) should have gone.

I've turned the white noise off. They all talk so much bollocks it irritates me. We know that was a proper win. That's what matters.

SO Kompany and Hart were feeling a bit dicky yet City still started the game with their first choice midfield partnership inc (Yaya Toure no less), Aguero and two signings costing 50m a pop.

Poor babies.

The media can moan and hiss about offiside goals or anaylse a poor city performance. It just takes the limelight of us and we can focus on the next game. Takes the pressure of us.

A lot are saying that City should feel hard done by about the offside, but why? Their goal was clearly offside too and was against the run of play

City were literally De Bruyne's toes offside, there's not a linesman in the world that would have flagged it.

BUT great win today. Really proud of the kids and you know what? It's great to see Jan back to his best.

The media should be talking about that being the youngest team fielded in a PL game this year and putting in a performance like that against the team lots of experts were ready to crown champions already.

I think Toby and jam are the biggest changes this season. How much better do we look at the back. Fazio horror show weds proves that. The only place in squad we look short is striker. Mason, dembele, Mason, rose all to come back and fight
To get in team
