I think the fact that we are playing two games in such short succession will actually benefit us though, we have the youngest squad in the league and have remarkable fitness, plus Watford just fought a tough game with Chelsea for the 2-2, I think this will work in our favour to be honest.

Decent win. I thought Lamela played very well and it was a greatly improved performance (especially first half) from Alli. Results went our way too. Oh and all three goals scored by those who have come through the ranks. Not a bad day!

Southampton just need to score one later and we will have the best defence in the league for least goal conceded, on top of being possibly joint top goal difference after that game!

Can't describe how proud I am for this Spurs team...

I've never been so at ease when the opposition comes at us. Massive confidence in the back four and Hugo. Last week Southampton started better and brighter, but was still confident we'd score and go onto win. Same again today. Norwich started the better, had a few chances yet still felt we'd go up the other end and score. Tight defence, organised midfield, clinical finsher. So happy to be a Spurs fan at the moment.

Oh and THAT Lloris double save in the second half was phenomenal. The guy is class. Happy birthday Hugo lad!

Because we're definitely going to sign a striker worthy of the name in January, and we can rest Kane at our convenience with that second striker on the books. Yessiree, no danger of us not signing a decent striker in January, not at Tottenham "we never ever snatch defeat from the jaws of victory" Hotspur... :troll:
I think this Berahino deal is going to happen.

Can't see it, have a feeling goons will get at least 3 without reply.

Decent, solid, polished, strong and professional performance by the team today. We need to continue with this mentality for the rest of the season. The players are slowly but surely maturing and beginning to understand what is needed to win games.

Onwards and upwards, COYS.

So pleased to see us take advantage of a good opportunity, and against a side we've dropped a lot of points to in recent years no less. Very pleased with the resolve to see out a very clean, thorough win.

MotM for me is Toby by a mile. Outstanding defensive display by him in the back. That lad is worth every single penny we paid for him last summer.

Such a classy defender.. In fairness they did put Cameron Jerome up front who is a thoroughbred cart horse.. Then again many of our defenders of old would gift him something or get outmuscled by Jerome. Absolute bargain signing.

Alderweireld is class. Ighalo will be a different prospect to Jerome in 2 days time though...

Watford will be a tough game...

Hmm, Leicester v Man City on the 29th. Takes points out of one or both of them whichever way it goes.

Fantastic performance and result from the boys today. Turkey sandwiches and mince pies for everyone!

The Beeb were waxing lyrical about the performance too.

I'm looking forward to MOTD as a result as I expect we'll see the game as a feature.
