that spurs team wont do jack shit this year. extremely disappointed again and not even any slight positives to come out of that apart from vertonghten.. pure solid proper quality player.

the rest have not got a fucking clue and i include manager in that. who does be coaching this lot has a lot to answer for... shambolic at times and even when we went in lead we gave qpr every chance to get back into it .. wide open... pure joke.... i stand by prediction that we will be lucky to finish 8th.
I suppose you could just support another team?

We seem to be better away from home as well atm; we look a much better solid team which defined roles and way of playing.

Vertonghen is JUST SUPERB and should be made Captain.
AVB has hopefully learned massively from this game...

Caulker IS READY.
Dempsey Should play Central in old VdV role.
Bale should always be an attacking threat.
Vertonghen should be made Captain!

QPR impressed, for a team of has-beens - I'd have liked to have bought Hoilliet instead of Sigudsson.
Yup. Time for AVB to just do what needs to be done and have Gallas take it on the chin and be a professional. Cailker has to play with verts.

When benny is back we're going to have a very good back line, especially if walker decides to develop his defending.

Do you want to put your money where your mouth is on the 8th?

I'll match any figure you want up to £1000 to donate to this site that we finish 7th or higher?

Nonsense on BBC London, poo-pooing any suggestion of Baldini joining us as being a new DOF rather than head scout. It's clear they fall into the "DOF's are silly foreign nonsense and we know better" catagory like most of our media

WTF? If he was ever our best CM it was when he was playing alongside Huddlestone, which says it all. Nothing mean spirited about suggesting a player is poor, over the course of a season, nay his Spurs career he has been very poor, that's not to say he hasn't had good moments but he's not better than any of our current midfielders.
Have to disgree, his best games were with Palacios and he was better than Huddlestone at that time.

Agree with every word, apart from the Hoillet part. Wouldn't have either of them!

That's fair enough, but Lazio wasn't the game to rotate either mate.

I think we can all agree that Carlisle this week, none of us want first teamers playing!

Maybe not, but we got away with it today even if Bale at LB didn't work out.

I'm not saying I want the same approach as Harry did with it, but rotation has to be a strong consideration with Thursday and Sunday games otherwise it will have an impact.

Thank god for the three points, another poor performance at home in the league though. a lot to be worked on still. They had so much room at times. I know he scored again but you can't play Defoe on his own and when Ade's fit I expect AVB to play him. Gallas needs to come out of the team. He's becoming a liability at times. Vertonghen was class.

Awful stuff 1st half but fair play to AVB and the boys they turned it around 2nd half, should have scored 4 or 5. Badly needed the win with United just around the corner, plus the knives would have been out for AVB big time if we lost.

Oh, and Tony Gale can fuck right off!!

Mate if you were a United fan you probably would say that after every game they play, and then be in disbelief as they win league after league. You can't expect us to play outstanding every game, it was a good sign that we turn around a game and got the three points even when we didn't play well.

all i want is players to show some fucking heart and effort on the filed of play and show some resemblence that they know what they are doing.. we were gifted a goal to draw level and in all honesty got very lucky again with winner.. if people want to hide behind fact or statemnets like thank fuck thats over or phew then fine... im looking deeper and that performance is fucking shocking . even the break away chances we had towards end of game and in injury time we royally fucked up thru greed and real lack of clinical finishing and ruthlessness.

massive changes needed and i said at start of season a huge amount of luck will be needed by avb if he stays in his job by xmas. it will only take a couple of bad results in a row and this spurs team has all the hallmarks of that side under ramos..

That's key, if our key players aren't properly rested then we can just forget even going and just hand them the points.

Yep, and you can be sure that whisky-face will be resting his key players.

I wonder who we can play up front in midweek though. I presume that Adebayor won't be back? Even Cameron Lancaster is injured I think. One of Dempsey or Defoe likely to end up working overtime.
