Both Ade and Soldado are finished, done for, kaput.

The sooner we all realise that the better, and the less hatred and vitriol regarding which one is worse than the other will become an irrelevance. We have one goal scoring forward, accept it, man up and stop venting spleens.

Face the fucking facts.

Soldado isnt quite Soldudo just yet. He does make a difference.

Dear Ade is see you Ade though. I concur with that.

You mean Townsend? He isn't a forward as such. More a wing man.

I think it is better to sell Adebayor - not because I don't like him. I think with fans booing him every game, in no time this will turn poisonous. If Levy has any sense , he will find a way to sell him.

I know we didn't play well -especially Eriksen & Mason were substandard. I cant see Eriksen having another off game. Sheffield didn't trouble Vorm at all - cant remember any saves from him. Also ,from set pieces, we really looked comfortable defending.

IMO, we should still make it out of the tie unhurt. One goal for us early on, I believe tie will be over.

Stop moaning about Adebayor and Soldado........we're stuck with them! at least for the rest of the season, and we're gonna need them. Anybody pinning their hopes on us getting a striker this window (is this not a recurring January theme?) are only going to be very disappointed....again!

It was very frustrating, we thought we would do what Southampton, QPR and West Ham couldn't to SU and beat them out of sight. We didnt and all credit to them. I also think playing Ade and Mason was a fitness exercise and therefore useful. We will beat them at Bramall Lane.

so odd all the moaning as if Spurs lost...

BTW - they won.... many times it is said that the mark of a good team is to win when not giving their best performance. Spurs won, enjoy it, and be happy as they do not win every game... :stop::p

Is that you, Jamie?
No, but come on fella get over it, its like your mrs has kicked ya out, you just cant help but have a pop at her!!
You might need some counselling mate, its tough as we all have been there at some time, take a deep breath and look to the future.
Yes it may never be the same with someone new, but give it a try yeah and stop comparing the old with the new. (y)

So you're saying that Redknapp is immune from any criticism?

Are you sure you're not Jamie?

The arrogance of our fans. This is a team that have routinely beaten prem sides, for a reason. We won. Clean sheet and are in the driving seat for next week.

Our fans were just like loads of you in this thread, expecting a romp and getting frustrated when things were going against us. That's when you need your fans, to help you get through tough times not groan at misplaced passes from players trying to play at a high tempo. Our fans spend so long moaning we play too slowly and then, when we do start to play quicker and we inevitably lose the ball more which is always goingn to happen when you play at a high tempo (unless you're barca) we moan at misplaced passes. Our players can't win. Sick of it

Dont know what you are moaning about to be honest i thought our fans were quite good and vocal.
The performance tonight reminded me of avb just keeping possesion for the sake of it but achieving square root of Fuck all,it was a poor showing from the team who we were told was going to play with high energy before the match buy poch.
Luckily we got ourselves a penalty because one of their players made a mistake other than that we never would have scored.
Now i dont really fancy Our chances up there as we are bound to concede with a crowd roaring them on its likely we will fold, we should of put it out of sight last night.

No and no

So you've gone off topic in the thread because I said the word Redknapp. Nice.

We still regularly lost to poor sides, conceding 4 goals a match to teams like Burnley and Fulham

We did that sort of thing under Nicholson. Do you have a problem with him?

With the exception of Santini, who wasn't around long enough to count, we only conceded fewer league goals per game under Pleat in his 86-87 spell than we did under Harry—and that was just 54 games, not 144. You could, of course, have checked this out for yourself.

What the heck has that got to do with anything?

Our defence has been poor since Redknapp's time at the club. I'm not arsed about statistics, as everyone knows they mean nothing, but we've leaked goals to poor opposition for years now. That's all the point is.

You lot complain about the support for Soldado, and here I am up against "Harry's Crusade" ffs
