That's second place gone then. After our result the Scum knew that a draw today would be enough. We'll lose to Newcastle and they'll walk all over Villa. I really thought we'd changed, but sure as night follows day, you know that good old Spurs will bottle it at the last.

Can't even see us getting a point against Newcastle that's how rubbish we've been post Stoke and today especially

Be a real piss take if Arsenal finish second

I'm not sure whether I want the barcodes needing a win or not. In a way I'd rather them need to win meaning they have to come at us, but on the other hand the way we played today makes fills me with utter fear

got a feeling that spurs have been waiting for others to them sort of favours the last weeks.
Leicesters opponents to win, arsenal to lose, city to win today. Theres been none of that.
If those gooners c**** overtake us in the last round im going to freak out.

If someone would have given me 3rd at the start of the season I would have taken it. I really hope UTD over take city for 4th
That really would be financially disastrous for City with the apparant size of their wage bill!

With the way things are going, Townsend will probably score a 30 yarder against us in the 90 min so we lose and Arsenal get 2nd place.

Draw would have got us 2nd.... Chadli miss looks huge now

How many games do you want me to trawl through just to prove that your scapegoat is not to blame for our predicament?

You might have well have said Kane's failure to pass when was through cost us today, but you didn't because he is fucking untouchable to some on here and in general cannot be criticized. He was as culpable for the loss today as anyone in a Spurs shirt, and that "miss" by Chadli was actually well saved. Keepers do that from time to time you know.

Even if Newcastle is going down, IMO no way are they not putting up a fight.. They are at home last game of the season..

But if my memory does not fail me, we won there on a last game of one season right?

Agree but expectations are allowed to change as the season unfolds so finishing behind arse would represent failure given we have only taken 2 points from last 9...

I thought Kane was awful today but having only 1 striker isn't his fault.

It will be fucking comical and highly embarrassing if we can't take one point from the six available off of a relegated team.

You know I don't think Kane is untouchable... He was more at fault for the result than Chadli today.

Where the fuck did I scapegoat Chadli just said the miss looks huge given it's context at 2-1.

Frustrating game today and as so many have said we let ourselves down with a weak performance once we were 1-0 up. Mauricio really needs to find a way of making these highly paid professionals understand that Newcastle is an absolute must win if we are to take second place as although we're now in the next season's Champs league coming in third is not an option.
