Let it go mate

Are you Pocchettino's uncle or something?

You seem to defend him at every turn, decisions like dropping Verts for Fazio need explaining to me.

Playing Capoue when he doesn't even fulfil the basics of the role he is supposed to be playing.

Playing players on Thursday then Sunday.

He has lost the plot, doesn't have a plan b and has been found wanting.

And your answer is bring more players in, Please.

He didn't do this in the beginning. It didn't work. He changed. It didn't work. Plan a .. then plan b.

As for losing the plot, thats just a stupid comment ....

The Committee.

And the head of The Committee is Mr Daniel Levy, who by the way appears to make the final decisions on all football and non-football matters.

Everyone seems to think that Baldini has the final say on football/transfer matters but all ultimate decisions seem to rest with Daniel Levy. Baldini just acts as the "public face" of The Committee. Baldini seems to be there to take most of the flak and protects the rest of The Committee. Why do you think Baldini is still in his job after we blew all of Bale's transfer fee on these sub-standard players. Because I suspect Daniel Levy needs Baldini as his shield to take any shit coming The Committee's way.

I don't really see how 4-3-3 is going to magically save us to be honest

We still don't have anyone to provide the width in the LWF and RWF positions

We'd then lose our AM/No.10 position which it seems half our entired squad are best suited to play

And we don't have a striker (aside maybe an on form Ade) who can lead the line, hold the ball up and allow others to run beyond them as the focal point of an attack with no no.10 supporting them

We'd maybe see better protection for the defense and be less over run in midfield but to be honest we don't have the players to sure up the centre

Stamboulli and Capoue with Mason or Eriksen ahead of them? PErsonally I feel Eriksen has no place in a 4-3-3 as he doesn't have the work rate to be part of a midfield

Play Paulinho in a three man midfield with Chadli and Stambouli. Play Eriksen on the left, Lamela on the right and Soldado as CF.
It's worth a go. Paulinho/Chadli started several games at the end of the year last season and we won with them, so I wouldn't discount it. We need ALL of our goal scorers with end product out there. Our CM's contribute virtually nothing attack wise currently, so I'd give Paulinho a chance a position other than right wing forward (brilliant by Poch by the way).

Isn't this the same post you use for every Manager?

Least the cups are
More exciting now
It's not just number of pounds tho is it? There also has to be a judgement on how well those pounds have been used.

We've had some great successes in our time, bale the best. But we've also wasted a lot. Bentley, bent, buying jd back at a higher rate and arguably the current squad has a number of poor investments.

Paulie being the worst IMO 17m for him???? Who signed that cheque???
thata my point though. Enic haven't has poor investment, but poor management buying poor players

I now just feel drained after spurs games. My 5 months without weed will officially end leading up too kickoff vs Hull, time to chill with Mary Jane during games again, lord knows she will make the atrocities on the pitch more bearable.

I have to say that that was probably the single worst performance I have seen from a Spurs team since the earlys 2000s. There was no easy passing, no movement, no pressing, no drive, no want to win, just nothing. We havent got a single winner in our team and it shows massively. Not a single one of those players has played at the top for a sustained period of time and we really miss it. We also miss someone with drive and passion, like Parker or Gallas, who will truly pull someone by the scruff of the neck and give them a mouthful for not pulling their weight.

Im so down about the club as a whole and Im torn between thinking that I shouldnt expect too much but I want to at the same time. I have gradually, over the past two years, come to the conclusion that we are ultimately a selling club, our owners are in it for the money and absolutely nothing else and it shows on the pitch. Harry did great at blinding this fact when he was in charge, but a club that makes £50m in transfers in 4/5 years is never going to be anywhere near the top. I think this season if we finish in the top half then that will be a geniunely correct position. It isnt Pochs fault, he wanted Schneiderlin and Mussachio and got other players who are not as good. How many more managers are we going to do this to.

I am off to the 49ers messageboard, where sadly the fans mood is much the same as the 49ers too seem to have brainfarted their way through the NFL season much like Spurs have through the PL thus far..

Lol have thought for Spurs/Raiders fans. Both stink but with a few good young players.

2/3 players in Jan, bring back fredericks, yedlin in, walker fit, bring through ceballos, bring back velkovic.

Sell whoever we can from townsend, dembele, capoue, naughton, ade, vlad, and whoever else, I know I'm missing some...

Finish the clearout in the summer and polish up the squad with a 3/4 more of pochs picks.

No other way to do this.

Whatever the medication you are taking, you need to read the prescription again because you are clearly overdosing.

We sold off Holtby, Sigurdsson, Sandro, and exiled Paulinho and replaced them with virtually no one. Holtby/Sigurdsson/Paulinho contributed 12 league goals last season. That's about the amount we've scored through 11 games this year. We signed ZERO attacking players, to boot. Our manager also insists our best CB sit on the bench in favor of FAR INFERIOR options like Chiriches/Fazio/Kaboul.

I thought it was because we let Dawson go. :ROFLMAO:

Sigurdsson, wasn't he the one that wasn't good enough for us according to many of the muppets on here. I think he saved his career getting out of here,...

  • Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, speaking to BBC Sport: "It was disappointing and frustrating. A very bad result. It is a shame because we started the game great and had the chance with Harry Kane but once we conceded the first goal it all changed, we took rash decisions and looked uncomfortable on the ball and made a lot of mistakes.

"We were more comfortable in the second half but then 2-0 down it is difficult. We scored but in the end it was a very disappointing result and in the next few days we will try to find a solution and change our mentality.

"Stoke worked hard. Always it is different. When you are up in a game your motivation is full and maybe we are very disappointed and frustrated and our players feel that frustration. We need to look forward, work hard, change and find the solution. That is my job."
More meaningless words, we hear it every week yet we get progressively worse
