I hope some of you lot aren't planning on shaving in morning, handling that blade may be too much to take.

Ade being a bit plopper every week, as usual, the longer he's at a club and the absence of Lennon on t'other wing makes it so painfully obvious how little depth we have. Without those two firing, we have no shape, we can't stretch teams. We're bloody good with them and horribly average without them on top form.

Same old same old. No game plan, no tactics, and when the individual brilliance doesnt shine through, we are piss poor.

Stoke were truely dreadful, and we barely created 5 chances.

I dont mind Bale playing in different positions....but when it's blatently clear all his changes are done on a whim, and the rest of the team don't know where to play...it's simply an embarrassment to the coaching staff.

Is that 8 pts from 8 games? Pathetic

agree totally. i have no idea what the fuck they do on the training ground but its no where near enough. lack of intelligence on the pitch is shocking at times watching spurs but harrys comments about game were spot on.

No news here, even the best team in the country went to pot when the players knew the manager wouldn't be there the following season. Either HR signs a contract extension or goes to Ingerlund now, staying in limbo will kill our season.

People can debate all they want on each game of this bad run we're on, the tactics, what player should have done this, that and the other etc. But other than a sheer coincidence - looking at the pattern of results since Cappello left - with the exception against Newcastle (where they were completely wrong tactically) - I think it's becoming almost alarmingly obvious that the uncertainty surrounding the management position is having an affect on performance. This as you say, has left us in a state of limbo.

I think if we get stuffed by Chelsea the board would be forced to make a move one way or other. This game versus Chelsea could well be Harry's most important game for Spurs in some time. We need to WIN!

9 games left and 27 points to play for. Take away the Chelsea game which some of you are fucking dismissing because you're incredibly pathetic and there's still 24 points available against largely beatable teams.

COYS.

Like Stoke.

5 weeks ago we were 1/16 to finish in the top 4.

I'll say no more.

From bettingzone.co.uk. Still odds on but the weekend game will be massive.

Arsene Wenger's side are now 1/5 with Sky Bet for a top-four finish, with Spurs - who were as short as 1/50 in places after beating Newcastle 5-0 last month - now 1/3 with Paddy Power and Sky Bet to hold off Chelsea (13/8 with BetVictor).

Sky Bet PR Director Dale Tempest said: "Arsenal and Tottenham look to be set for the Champions League spots, but Harry Redknapp’s men have a tough encounter against Chelsea on Saturday.

"After three defeats on the bounce Spurs looked short of confidence, but their late equaliser against Stoke could give them the boost they require."

Your optimism does have good logic! I would generally agree, but looking at our previous run of results I'm beginning to wonder what the extent is of Harry & England affecting the squad for remaining part of the season as so far it has yielded 3 points from 5 games.

We beat Chelsea and I'm sure things will start looking rosey again.....

VDV has a habit of scoring in phases. That injury time goal could well kick start another patch of goals. Take that thought to bed with you!

Chelsea is now our biggest game of the season, this is bigger than any cup final, I would happily take a point right now and walk away from that game knowing if we can knuckle down and get Lennon and Adebayor back and keep them fit then we have a good chance of going on a run similar to our run September-December. We REALLY need to put in a performance Saturday, if we don't I fear we will just continue to crumble, then you have to question do we need to make a drastic decision to get the season back under control or can Harry earn his money and get the team back on the right track?

People must not underestimate yet again how up Chelsea will be for the Spurs match.

It's just like Arsenal all over again. It's their chance to define their season at home with Spurs in sight.

Its a cup final for them with everything to gain.

We have been the ones unused to the pressures of defending a points total as usually we are the ones playing catch up and being the underdogs.

This is about experience and i would say not even Harry has it at this level.

I applaud what HR has achieved, don't get me wrong, but sometimes you got to close shop, negate everything the opponent has and take that point.

If we had closed ranks and shut up shop vs Arsenal and at least not lost, we would still be 3rd and looking up and not over our shoulder at 5th.

It is about knowing when to go for the win and when to accept a point to make sure you don't hand momentum to the chasing pack.

This is how Man Utd are so bloody successful, because there is no losing to your rivals or you get torn a new one. (doesn't mean it doesnt happen mind, but you cant arue with where Man United are and they have been piss poor all season).

Too right!

Lets hope the squad have a better mentality than some of you boys here. Yeh we've been a bit shit, but this is very much still within our reach.

That's my biggest hope - and biggest concern.
