Clearly.

I get it. Not hard. We played a chocolate teapot midfield. Keep doing that and we'll get bent over. The bile at TS started before he was even named manager though, and I threw some myself because I simply don't like him. Were I to have a nemesis it would be Tim Sherwood. Now that he's the guy though, might as well wish him the best and he hasn't lost so far at least. Fuck all else we can do.

This is the problem though - he's sapped all hope I had for this season away. I'm finding it hard to get excited about matches with him in charge.

I tried to give him a chance but his team selections and media interviews just give me the impression he is doing everything possible to be the anti-AVB. It might apparently be "what the fans want" but if there is one thing that being a member on here has taught me is - most fans haven't got a clue about football. It's only going to end in tears for all of us.

Erm, we didn't lose!

This post pretty much sums up the irrational and spiteful dislike of Tim Sherwood from a small but vocal section of so called Spurs fans. After 50 odd pages, nobody has been able to explain why AVB should have been given all the time he wanted despite losing 3 nil and 5 nil at home to teams we finished above last year, whereas Tim hasn't lost a league game yet but should be replaced after less than a week in charge! Those that go on about Sherwood backstabbing AVB are complete tools. Tim was not responsible for the most boring performances I've ever seen a Spurs team play, completely against the clubs traditions. Nor was Tim responsible for the shocking defeats we had against teams we should be beating (Man City aside).

It's these small but vocal so called fans who really are what drags this club down. They're always willing to support and give time to a manager who overseas a period of decline, but it's okay because he's handsome, uses big words and comes from another country. Not that any of those traits are bad, it's just they're not what fans should be looking for in a manager if they want to see their club win trophies. The traits you do want to see are hunger, desire to win, belief in your own and your colleagues abilities and the confidence to lead. So far Tim has shown all of the latter. Unfortunately for him though, he's cock eyed and speaks with a cockney accent. Wish the haters on here had the balls to admit this is why they don't want Tim managing the team rather than making up results and inventing other criticisms to support the idea Tim isn't capable.
Dont be silly, I didn't want AVB to be sacked, but I have moved on. 'Dont be bitter ok'. Furthermore I am a fan of tim which I think my post clearly suggests, in spite of the ridic comments above I hope Tim and the boys do their best. I'm not sitting here in AUS at 2.30am before work on a Monday because I'm dragging the club down. I do it because I love the club more than anything and hope like hell hey they succceed.

Must admit I was a bit miffed when the Stoke game moved to the Sunday as I had planned the trip to the Panto based around our festive fixtures.

Now I'm glad I don't have to watch any more of this rubbish on Sunday.

Really enjoyed the Panto. I've booked tickets to go again next week if that's the effect on our results !! COYS
