Do we risk Vlad the Impaler for this game? As much as I want to stuff West Ham, maybe we should just go with Capoue and Zeki and not risk any more injuries. Also, maybe we should look to bring in an MLS player on loan just to have a healthy body for a couple of months. I wouldn't want to play a guy like Omar Gonzalez or Clarence Goodson, but they'd do in a dire emergency such as the one we're having tomorrow and they may jump at the chance to train with the team and stay fit during the MLS offseason.

Do we still own Bongo Khumali??? LOL I cant even remember if thats his name!!

Bring him back Sherwood!

I just hope these players get a run out, fill in the blanks (and adjust formation if needed) with whomever is available. Defoe in there if Tim wants a 442

Christ 4-4-2 isn't the answer.

4-1-3-2 might be, 4-2-2-2 could be, 4-3-1-2 could be, if it's a flat 4-4-2 I'll stab a bitch.

Funny to think how eight months ago we wanted Ade out and now suddenly he's the messiah. Absence, heart, fonder yadda yadda

Funny that u really think 4-4-2 would be anything different than 4-1-3-2, It`s just a number. It dependt on the players in that position. U can se 4-4-2 as 4-4-1-1, 4-1-3-2 why hang up on the numbers ? it`s not the numbers that is the problem it is how u use them that matthers. COYS !

I don't get the negativity. When we used the formation against Liverpool at WHL in the Harry era we won 4-0 as opposed to being battered 0-5

And that pile of shit Manchester City play it, mind you they can't score a goal or win a game to save their lives!

It's just fashionable to hate it as it makes you sound like a tactical wizard.

City don't play 4-4-2 though. Neither Nasri or Silva play as 4-4-2 style wingers - Navas does but they don't have anybody on the left to do so. It's not claiming to be a tactical wizard to realise that there are different formations in which players have different roles and whilst there is a blurring of the lines between different formations there are also pretty notable differences too.

Doubt it, they've given Friedel a fair bit of the pre-match stuff on the official twitter feed so seems unlikely they'll call in Gomes.
Yearh ok.

I just always considered Friedel relatively close to AVB, sometimes they even had conversations during a game. In addition to this, the statement which Friedel gave to American media and Gomes complaining about not being given a chance, could potentially force a shift - I thought. Pure speculation, though.

How in thee hell is a London Derby not on TV?

I know, the "biggest" QF in terms of rivalry etc but never mind, there will be a good stream.

Still can't believe in 2013 I can't pay an annual subscription to watch every spurs game in HD. Even online only!

Why the hell are Sky so pathetic that they have to select one out of two matches? They have FOUR channels! It just doesn't make sense. Are there actually 3 live sporting events which clash with our match and are more popular? Plus they have a dedicated F1 channel which is absolutely ridiculous! F1, the national sport of England! Why don't they have a dedicated football channel instead? Sky have things a bit strangely wrong if you asked me.

You mean like direct via the club? What happened to Spurs TV live streaming? Didn't they used to offer it?

I think Tim's gonna go with a stronger team than you may think!

Agreed mate

First match and all, after a few shaky results

I doubt very much that he'll play a load of kids and risk a battering. Especially considering the depth of talent available in our squad

Looking forward to this game tbh
