Sky have us down to win 4-0 :eek:mg:

You never know which Spurs or Wigan are going to turn up.

As long as we win and make use of those teams around us slipping up yesterday.

Yes I agree, the Sky prediction was way off mark! They underscored us by 5!

I think you got your answer about which team showed up!

a very big

and a big  for the team

As someone who has had a bug about Lennon final ball, I have to say he has finally developed the skill. For Crouches 1st and what should have been his second, superb delivery.

Wigan were not good but scoring 9 oh happy days

and 8 from open play!!

But in the interest of fairness should we not replay it, as their goal was blatant hand ball, and it did change the course of the game for at least 30secs:wink:

I can't believe it, 9-1, I had a good feeling especially when i saw it was a 4-4-2, I thought 3-0..But 9, and 8 from open play, WHAT A RESULT.

I'll shut up now:beer:

I love Aaron Lennon.

We play sooooo much worse without him.

And poor Bentley - how can he compete?

He comes on, scores an incredible free-kick and it gets chalked as an own goal!

SMASHING :bowdown::clap: I just love it..........one of the very best days of my Tottenham following. All the lads were superb.

Special mention goes to Defoe, Lennon, Crancjar, Thudd and of course HARRY REDKNAPP he got it absolutely spot on today.

I surely won't get a lot of sleep tonight, I will want to savour the memory of this for as long as I can !

Oh, I now fully understand why I love SPURS so much :beer::beer:

Good for the goal difference catch up on the top 3 and wipes away the memory of some of the more dismal performances this season.

Even more incredible that 9 goals were scored in one half.

Please keep captain Keano on the bench!

Not good enough. Only Spurs would fall short of reaching double figures! Although they add up to the same amount, 9-1 is not 10-0! Devasted!

Awesome. Just awesome. The pundits will hammer on about Wigan's defending, as someone already mentioned, but I don't really care.

The movement of Defoe and Lennon tore them apart, and it's no suprise to see the more creative types (aka Huddlestone and Krancjar) have better games with a player with such natural width back in the team.

I had Defoe (five goals and an assist) and Lennon (one goal, three assists) in my Sky Fantasy Football team. Defoe will also get points for Sky Man Of The Match, and he's my captain, so he'll score double!

Great Sunday all round. I'm off to buy beer!

From Chris, Ruislip, via text on 81111: "Eight of Spurs' nine goals were scored by players that were playing for Pompey last season - little wonder they cannot score today!
