confidence and self belief can do wonders for a team. i hope this result gives the team the belief that we can fight for third with the arsenal. how we handle villa and everton and citeh a few weeks later will be telling. oh great result :clap::clap:.

just saw the goals on sky news.....totally amazed by the score line.

Should have been 9-0, what a blatant hand ball.

It was an honour to be there today.
Fantastic game. I'm still smiling!
And isn't it great thinking about how the Arsenal fans will be hating all the Spurs talk? :)

The game was on delay in Canada, so purposefully stayed away from the internet and any form of sports channel, started playing fifa only to realise the results were streaming along the bottom of the screen.

What a result, I thought we played superbly, definate MoM performances by Lennon and Defoe, what a difference.....we played complete football, Wigan were poor, but we were fantastic......

I loved the immediate response to the 'not' goal, terrible refereeing again, but we just fired one back at them straight away....

I think that was proven on my Facebook this evening Spursgirls!!!!!

Although hopefully Bizness won't start calling me names for having an arsenal fan as a friend...

Don't you just love it when it all comes together. Even Bentley scored!!

Defoe, Lennon and Kranjcar were immense.

I'd also like to mention the chants from the fans today. (Sorry if anyone has already mentioned this). Even the sparce Wigan fans were laughing at the 'what time is your minibus' one, and Robbie and the other subs were killing themselves laughing at the Thierry Henry one. I think Robbie enjoyed milking it a bit by deliberately not applauding it straight away.
I also loved the "we want six, we want seven, we want eight, we only want one more" ones. The crowd were brilliant!

I was lucky enough to get an unbroken stream for the whole match. Wigan were pretty awful but we were almost unplayable today and could have given anyone a hiding. Blinding performances from the whole team - not one weak link. Still in a state of supreme elation I switch on Talksport to hear that total tosser Ray Houghton say that all three matches today were rubbish and that the Spurs v Wigan match a poor game. Unbelievable. I also hear that 5 Live Sport switched over from there commentary on the match as the result was a forgone conclusion. Had this been Manure, Chelski, Arse or the Bin Dippers winning 9-1 I am sure the reaction may have been slightly different. What is it with these people?

I was at both Burnley and today's game and I thought Wigan were a lot better than Burnley. It helped that we had a sensible formation.

Certainly didnt see that score line coming at half time! I would like to thank Wigan for turning us around today so we attacked park lane in 2nd half! It was very kind of them!

We were awesome today! That was like our early season form! We looked liked we were going to score with every single attack in the 2nd half. Lennon was my man of the match he scared the life out of Wigan with every attack he was unplayable today!

It's not. It's fucking horrible. Rain, strong winds, the full package.

I'm actually kind of glad I'm not going today. First (and probably last) time I'll ever say that. The weather's just so shit.

Anyway, COYS

Still glad??

I forgot about that- I don't know why they did that but they hadthe wind advantage in the second half.
