Join my world mate, everyone here hates me
I didn't agree because I hate you, but I feel your pain.. some no name rated my post as dumb. As opposed to his insightful two posts which blew my socks off Alan Brazil style.

The LV bag thing is doing my head in now. Pointless!

I think the ITK thing has gone to Akqa's head judging by the stuff he posts on Twitter.

Like the rubbish that he's going out on the lash with "Keith" tonight.

Why?

Adebayor was perfect for us last year. Also, he's realistically probably the best person we could get.

Defoe is the best supersub in the league. Full stop. His scoring record speaks for itself.

And Kane is highly promising.

Sure, we could maybe use another but that's far from bad.

Adebayor was far from perfect in my eyes. Yes he has alot of qualities, but for the majority of his games I was left frustrated. He constantly dropped off into VDV's area of play, forcing the Dutchman to drop further back in midfield. He also drifted too often towards the left, which in turn just encouraged Bale further to play centrally.

And because of all of the above, the oppositions 18 yard box was more often than not left vacated, and considering our main form of attack comes through our wing play and getting the ball into the area, it's no wonder why we struggled to break down alot of teams last year.

Defoe is seriously limited, and will never suit a 4-3-3 system or the majority of modern formations. His movement is awful for a striker if his type, he'a incapable of staying onside, and he'll soon be 30. Needs to be sold

Kane looks promising, but he needs to be loaned out, as playing 3rd fiddle will do him no good.

Like I said, if they are our 3, God help us

we wont get anywhere with kane and defoe as part of 4 man strike force.. kane is no where near first team and defoe is pants... if adebayor gets injured we cud be in serious trouble.. i wud be all for getting remy in and also leandro and if u cant get him get another in.

Don't agree actually, especially as we will be playing only 1 striker. Not sure we could expect more than this. The no.2 striker will be very important. Yes, the adition of an extra wide player - Remy or otherwise by all means.

That's really not true though, is it? A supersub comes on and scores vital, match winning goals. A significant amount of Defoe's goals, especially in the last season or two, have come when we're either already in the lead and the other team are chasing a goal (see Fulham away and West Brom away) or when the game is already out of our reach (see Man Utd home).

How many games have there been where Defoe has been subbed on and immediately changed the flow of the game in our favour?

The far more common scenario has been where Defoe has come on for Rafa, and we've immediately lost control of the ball and Defoe instantly disappears into the background, having the occasional pop shot from distance.

That's hardly supersub material in my eyes.
