So according to JJetset Levy wasn't just in Holland (or Amsterdam)
According to wpd659 Levy met with a Brazilian players agent.

Damaio's agency, although nearly solely having Brazilian players on its books, is based in Munich.

Could Levy have gone to Munich, or at least met someone from http://www.boavista-consulting.de/ in Amsterdam?
Easy enough, it is only a few hours on train?

He could possibly have gone to Munich but I very much doubt he'd use the rattler to get there. And if (big IF) he indeed went to Munich, why confine ourselves? There's a whole galaxy of stars based in Munich playing for Bayern. And while we're on about Galaxy, it could be the return of Robbie Keane. There, that should be enough to get the fantasy fishwives among you kicking on for a few hours :)

#mcfc weighing up bid for#thfc target Loic Remy. Concern given City's financial clout but Spurs confident they are still in pole position.

Seems they are just trying to increase the transfer fee, probably Levy is playing hardball with them concerning Adebayor.

Wouldn't see City signing Remy and Hazard. Having forward options of Silva, Nasri, Aguero, Tevez, Toure, Balotelli, Hazard and Remy before you even take into account likely leavers such as Johnson and Dzeko, would just be ridiculous.

They could get practically any Striker in the world, why would they go for one that is decent but hasn't set the world alight?
Maybe the leak came from OMs side to jack up the price a little? Or it's just your typical speculation in hopes of getting it right and acquiring more twitter followers, whatever that's worth.

Dont they have Guidetti coming back as well? Proper scum-bag club, though I doubt they're actually interested.

Bingo.

I cannot see why City would want Remy

Remy plays as a RW/ST does he not? Man City have very little width and play Silva - Aguero - Nasri/Hazard (should he sign). Remy is not better than any of those and won't start up front for them with Tevez/Balotelli/Dzeko. I cannot see them changing their system for him. If they wanted a winger they could just go out and buy Robben.

As said above, its probably just Marseille trying to raise interest and drive up the price.
