What I mean by Moneyball, and I plead a little ignorance here, is basing decisions by looking at the statistics of the game in isolation. I seem to recall that Leon Britton had one of the highest passing completion percentages this season.What do you mean Levy playing moneyball? Is moneyball just associated with anything that is cheap now, because I am pretty sure that isn't the concept.
There was a post a while ago, I don't remember when, which suggested that Levy was looking at the statistics of players, which I think is the conversation where the comment about Remy's scoring the most headed goals in the French League evolved from.
I didn't mention "cheap" and I'm not sure where you took that from.
