Different attitude over there. Remember being over at PAOK for the Rovers game and talking to one of there fans about flares. Turned out that the amount that PAOK paid in flare related fines alone last season was twice the annual wage bill of Shamrock Rovers, entire club, caretaker included!

Maybe I don't understand how flares work, but wasn't it rather dangerous to cover 1000 or so people in a giant sheet of cloth and then hold two dozen flares through the holes in it?

mental, I still wear flares to football matches, and it can be dangerous - glad I dont live in Turkey tho.

It's great that banner, that it fit perfectly for that part of the stadium, the right size and smuggled in under somebodies Naff jacket.

I wouldn't have fancied being underneath that if it caught fire
