Anybody see Adrian Lopez's two icy finishes earlier ? He's 23 years old, and has just been relegated with Deportivo.

Had a quick look at some videos, he's good on the ball and beats people with nice touches. Also likes to place it into the net, instead of power. Videos can be misleading, but his finishing looks very good.

There's some talk of him going on a Bosman to Atletico Madrid, are we too late to be having a look ?

All our CMs haven't been great to say the least, Sinclair/Cleverly for Rodwell?

I actually thought he started quite well but seems to have faded as the half went on. Mancienne looks amazingly average. Not quite sure why he's in the team.

By changing the shape from the first game we seem to have nullified the only player, Walker, who looked threatening in that game.

On his way to Atletico, he's not very good anyway.

Mancienne is in the team because he offers some agression. Not that I dissagree with you, not a very good player. I missed the first 10ish minutes so I'll take your word that he started well.

That first half was pretty woeful.

From a Spurs point of view Walker has been quieter than the other night and unable to offer as much attacking down the right, whilst Rose tries hard but is not a left winger at Prem. or International level.

The centre midfield is rubbish, Mancienne is a centre back isn't he? he should be nowhere near that team. Rodwell sitting plus Henderson alongside Cleverly would be better.

Also take the left back off (or Rose) and stick on Wickham with Sturridge and Welbeck in support, then bring Sinclair on later on.

Albrighton, Cleverley or Sinclair need to be on. Sturridge and Welbeck don't seem to work well so give Wickham a shot. Shit do something because that first half was crap viewing. At this rate I can see England scraping through the group in 2nd playing the Swiss and getting murdered. Our midfield play has been beyond shite.

I say well. He looked composed at least. He really does remind me of Jenas in that he is a good passer of the ball, can sit when needed and looks to have the ability to get forward when needed, but when he's not doing those things we may as well be playing a drunk lemur in midfield.

Im watching the U21's......anyone else think we should put in a cheeky bid for Sturridge?

Judging by their alleged £22m bid for Modric, Sturridge must be worth about £700,000. Let's insult them, too.

at the end of it Mancienne turned out to be one of the better players. Never seen so many misplaced passes/overrun balls

I can see the Czechs giving England a good spanking

Pearce has to go if England don't get out the group

That Phil Jones bloke is just a young John Terry. They both have big foreheads and hooves.

If that's the future of English football

there are a couple of good players in there they just look like they have never seen each other. Muamba is a good player, Sinclair is a good player, Albrighton is a good player, the whole back 4 (with Rose at RB) are good players. Sturridge is a good player. Welbeck, my god he was shit today.
