The mentality at this club is awful & it all stems back to one man.
Let's be also honest, Pochettino's attitude to Cups was also shit when we should have cemented achievements in silverware.

It's been a culmination of apathy for years at this club which is why I fully supported not having Conference football next year as a means to get our foundations and culture right for when we look to embark next on domestic and European forays.

One necessary step back for two (and more!) steps forward.

Congratulations to West Ham and especially to David Moyes.
I wish it was us and I'd take Declan Rice in a heartbeat.
I hope we're celebrating something next season.
Anything.

Riggi is from West Ham country, as am I, so I know exactly where’s he’s coming from.

Yeah I wouldn’t want to have to deal with them tomorrow. Despite my post above. If I had to work with a load of them tomorrow I’d probably call in sick.

I can't do anything but congratulate them - i wish it was us.

Moyes is a bit of a joke but seems a decent human, Rice seems a really likeable, decent bloke, even Bowen is alright.

Just hope that everyone at the club watched that tonight especially their celebrations. Reality has to hit home for Daniel and co. This has to feel embarrassing.

I have no West Ham mates and I'm unlikely to visit any caravan parks in the next 20 years so this doesn't bother me at all

Now I hate West Ham as much as anyone, my ex is a Hammer and she's a right **** but I couldn't help feel a tinge of jealousy at those celebrations at the end and honestly, found myself unintentionally smiling at points (yes, I hate myself for that).

So well done to that bunch of pikey fuckknuckles and come on Spurs, watching that should show our lot how much any trophy would mean to our fans.

So many times we've approached these "lesser" competitions as though we're too good for them but if that were us right now, I would be absolutely buzzing.

We have really lost a lot of magic in our squad. That pass from Paqueta for their winner shows just how important it is to have a creative influence.

Let's be honest, this is the kind of trophy you can win without going full throttle, as long as you take it seriously mentality-wise.

We always seemed like it was an inconvenience.

Rice, yeah. Not the brightest but a nice lad.
Moyes, no way, the man's a proper twat.

One thing the Spam even when staring relegation in the face is the right mentality to overcome it.

I grew up in Essex and I'm just glad I moved North as know exactly what they are like it will be relentless and as you've all mentioned we only have ourselves to blame. Got away with the Gooners throwing away the league this is our icing on the cake of a dreadful season. To cop it all they also get European football again and we have a mission to sort ourselves out big time #crap!

Parking my feelings about West Ham to the side, absolutely delighted for Moyes. One of the most under appreciated managers of the modern era, great bloke and deserved this trophy more than anyone after what happened at United and the years following.

I'm from Woolwich and one of the best places to go windsurfing in the UK has one of the best caravan sites in the country. So I won't judge. But nice dig on the traveller community , gives us a good look.

A trophy is a trophy and their first one in four decades. Thankfully this doesn’t really bother me in any way with West Ham winning that trophy, I grew up in an area dominated by gooners and glory hunter Man U fans.

I’m genuinely not annoyed by it, if Arsenal won the league completely different story.

I think for me as the Conference League is in its second year I’m more meh to it, the last time I was genuinely like what a shame I wish that was us was when Leicester won the FA Cup.

Rice captain West Ham to this trophy, now he feels ready to make the step up to Arsenal so that he can compete for the top 4 trophy.
