I'd like to congratulate Fiorentina for being the first team in European football to have lost in the final of the European Cup, the UEFA Cup, the Cup Winners Cup and the Conference League. What a way to finish off the season where they also lost the Coppa Italia. Viola-y.

I'd also like to point out that, for all the hoo-hah, it's not as if West Ham have more European trophies than us. There is, however, one London team, currently resident in N5, whom they do have more European trophies than. Personally, I shall be pointing this out to any West Ham I'm not quick enough to avoid in the next few years.

I'm from Woolwich and one of the best places to go windsurfing in the UK has one of the best caravan sites in the country. So I won't judge. But nice dig on the traveller community , gives us a good look.
Mate, it's not a dig at the traveller community, it's a dig at West Ham.
I know a fair few people in the traveller community and none of them live in caravan parks, they're usually full of pension aged Londoners who like the idea of a holiday home!

I was so much more concerned last year when they might win the Europa

This is a tin pot intertoto wannabe. Nothing the see here apart from their twat fans singing “champions of Europe” which is just plain irritating

Fucking dumb pricks. God I hate West Ham

Fiorentina officiallly the Italian version of us now, especially after Roma won the same competition.

German version is Leverkusen. Not sure about Spanish teams, seems like they've all won something recently.

Fair, I must have misinterpreted their post when they were referring to West Ham fans, which can on occasion use a term beginning with Pike and ending in an Y. I'm just not a fan.

Nope, West Ham are actually at their best on the counter and Fiorentina's high line will play into their hands perfectly. Think Antonio and Bowen could have a field day.

Told you. So predictable.

Starts from the top.

Its top 4 or bust at this football club.

15 years and counting. Under Levy we will hit 20 years.

We wouldnt have beat City BUT sacking Mourinho 7 days before a cup final to replace him with a 29 year old rookie because he was going to rest players midweek, should have been the wake up call every Spurs fan needed about Levy.

They’ll never reach a CL final 🥹🫠

They wont win a domestic trophy for years to come either but they seized an opportunity to win a trophy with a last min winner.

Thats what football is all about.

Aston Villa should be watching that tonight and doing the same.

Watched it with my West Ham supporting brother in law at Box Park in Croydon. Fuck knows how they won that but hey ho. The beer was good. Football is mental. 🤷🏼‍♂️

In that case, I should apologise because I used that term in an earlier post and I should've been more sensitive, especially considering one of my best mates is a traveller.
It's not an excuse at all but I spent my teenage years in an area surrounded by traveller camps and the P word just became part of the vocab.

I will try my best not to use it again in regards to West Ham (or at all) because I don't wish to offend anyone with careless words. 👍

Aston Villa under Unai Emery with his European record have to be favourites to win this competition next year.

Credit where it’s due, they did well to win that and I wouldn’t have turned it down. I may take the piss out of them as often as I can but they were deserved winners tonight.

How? They were toilet.
They were less toilet than the other team?
Come on mate, credit where it's due. They've just won themselves a trophy and while not the biggest, it's more than we've achieved for a while.
None of us like them but even we can't begrudge them this moment, it's a big night for them and they've done well to win it.

Its a really low on quality tournament therefore you ideally want to avoid it.

But I do believe if you are in it you should be aiming to win it.

We either do one of 2 things.

Underestimate a team (Genk, Basel)

Or put out a weak team against serious opposition (Dortmund, Shakhtar)

I hope next time we make Europa and give it a real shot.

Only time we did was Jol when Sevilla cheated their way to beating us. Felt that was our year.
