watched it all the way and a great left foot volley. Spain are walking past the England midfield like they are not there at times.

Bostock just made a bad tackle there resulting in a yellow.

its strange, at times he is sitting a few yards behind the defence. Im not sure if he is playing almost as a sweeper at times or not.

Has looked good, could have done a bit better on the first goal, but wasn't at fault for it at all.
Calm at the back, with a bit of no nonsense thrown in.

I must admit Ive been impressed with him throughout the Tournament, he seems to have such a level head on young shoulders! Considering that he is playing with Thompson who has played a lot for Celtic already, Id say that Caulker is the better defender of the two!

Granted the Scottish league isnt great though!

How is Caulker looking at the back guys??

He's doing ok but his partner THompson is pants.

I'm convinced that width is the way to beat the Spanish style but we don't seem to be using any.

It's clear that the Spanish are well drilled whereas our boys are pretty much on their own trying to play together but it looks like the third goal has knocked the stuffing out of us, poor defending should've had someone behind to block their player in the wall.

Spain playing it around so it'll probably be a boring last 15 minutes.

I wouldn't say the best players were Spanish but no doubt the best team won.
Good game I enjoyed it.

Just listening to talksport all hand wringing and woe, why can't we produce top players and the acadamies are failing blah blah blah but I thought we had some good players and I think England can look forward to the future.

Loads missing as well. Wilshere, Rodwell, Shelvey would probably all be starters in the midfield which would make a big difference. Townsend could have gone too and he would cause some serious problems with his pace, but teams wanted to keep some of their players for preseason training.
