I mentioned Davids on the first page because he was such a great player who was undervalued by a lot of people on SC. We kept on hearing how good Carrick was(Davids was really the man IMO when we finished 5th), forgetting the work Edgar Davids did winning the ball back. He really helped both Carrick and Lee.

What a Legend

Vinny Samways, Jose Dominguez, Willem Korsten and Rohan Ricketts.

I'm ashamed.

Robbie Keane... :shifty:

Vinny Samways, Jose Dominguez, Willem Korsten and Rohan Ricketts.

I'm ashamed.

Willem Korsten was a quality winger - if his career hadn't been finished off by injuries he would have made a big impact with us (especially as the man in the raincoat was kinda obsessed with selling Ginola...).

I use to go to the reserves a lot and a player who always run the show was Moussa Saib, in a better Spurs side we would have seen the best of him.And one other player i liked was El Hamdaoui would be a first team player by now, same he wanted to go back to the Dutch league.l

Tony Galvin, then Micky Hazard, then Mitchell Thomas, then Nico Claesen, then (and still) Sol, then Mendes, then Tainio. Disco Benny and Graham Roberts don't count as unusual or they'd be in there.

Vinny Samways - one of my first Spurs games was at the Lane vs QPR. Samways played instead of the injured Gazza, I was gutted. It was a dire game but Samways was superb with a great range of passing and excellent defensive work. With better coaching he could have been a much better player but it just never happened for him.

Paul Walsh was another favourite as a kid.

Jimmy Holmes - no nonsense Irish left full back of late 1970's.

(Part of the team that I grew up with).

Played for us for about 2 years (around 75 times i'd say) having arrived from Coventry, but broke his leg on international duty. Don't think he played for us again after. Would have had more appearances otherwise.

Pedro Mendes for sure... even watched a bit of the Rangers game tonite to see the lad.

Never really had a bad game in a spurs shirt, wish he could have hung in for an extra 6 months to take over from Carrick when he left

Blondel also looked pretty good when he got the odd chance, and thought Rory Allen was gonna be huge for Spurs... oh well:whistle:
