O'Hara is bloody brilliant as well, way too good to play for West Ham....they get the better end of this deal if it happens

Oh christ.... did u see MOD's review for potential world cup striker's about a month ago? They analysed Cole and basically said he's been hopeless since late last year .... crap 1st touch, complete inability to pick out a pass, couldn't hold the ball up and more importantly ... couldn't hit the target ....

We go from Dzeko to Carlton Cole. Good lord this is bad news. I am waiting for the Heskey links to start back. Please let this one die ITK's.

Even if it 100% going to happen just don't tell us about it, he is not an improvement on what we have so just let us be surprised if it does actually happen.

Hit the nail on the head there! No in the same class of any of our current strikers, if we can't do better than this we've got problems!

He's not going to get regularly picked ahead of Crouch, is he? Unlikely signing in my view, especially this early in the window.

It's been hard enough for a lot of fans to tolerate Pav's drop off in form (you should have sat next to the guy I sat next to v. Bolton!!) and taking on Cole would be a big mistake if he isn't going to be a fourth/fifth choice.

I can't see him getting as many goals as Pav, but Harry does have a preference for someone who speaks the lingo - perhaps Pav's English is as bad as the sitter he flunked in the last home game.
