Good whoring Arail, nicely done.

Interesting link, backup may be needed and a young'un is ideal.

He is quality already with loads of upside, but we are going to be a fair way down the list. He is one of the hottest properties in football. I imagine he will end up at Man Utd or somewhere similar and be first choice.

would love to get him and think we need a centre-back in January really... can't see King OR Woodgate playing again at least for the short term

He had been linked to the premiership quite a lot recently.

I think he is being touted for quite a lot of money, so would be surprised if we did go for him, but the more the merrier....

Man City are rumoured to be VERY interested. If so Palermo are in for a shed load of cash!

Top clubs in Seri A, La liga and EPL are after him. Doubt he'll come to Spurs.

I know you shouldn't be fooled by the media, but the way they've written it makes it plausible, even close. I hope so!

Kjaer has an 11.9m Euros (which is £10.5m) release fee clause but it only comes into effect in the summer

Palermo might be tempted to sell up now for that bit extra (£12m)

Without seeing gin play I don't think we have a chance. He previously said although he is a Liverpool fan he would not turn down a move to man utd bur warned Sir Alex that he would not join them tobsit on the bench. Another article was saying city bid 18m but he turned them down. Chelsea Juventus AC and Inter are monitoring the situation. Very very unlikely I'm afraid

yep 6 clean sheets in a row, CB defo top of my list for Jan, NOT!

It was obvious to everyone watching yesterdays game and others this season, we are unable to break down a team that comes to defend. CM was awful yesterday!

Any news on Sandro or Flamini?

Read his interview, he wants to join a team where he will get first team games. He'd even join his favourite clubs rivals if it were the difference between being 3rd choice CB, rather than 4th choice.

That means he won't go to any of the big clubs that are after him IMO.

Would this be our realistic Leadley stand in?

No, Ledley is not a full time player by all accounts. Ledley may well be his stand in, if we decide he can play enough games to renew his contract. Same goes for Woodgate.

Exactly!!! 6 clean sheets in a row - would it be as many if either Dawson or Bassong were unavailable???

We need 3 quality, fit CB's. At the moment we have 2 and 2 sick notes.

Also the midfield really wasn't that bad, and neither Flamini or Sandro would have helped with our attacking efforts as neither are attacking midfielders. What we lacked yesteday was some clinical finishing, and why Keane was chosen over Crouch is anyone's guess.
