Lennon out for at least until the wolves game (february 10th) is the latest word. May be longer - joy.

I'm told Rose will be given a start against Leeds. I find this hard to believe as Harry never seems to actually blood youngsters in these games, but apparently he will this time.

RvN is looking unlikely. He wants a decent basic salary with a fee per game played on top (something in the region of £60k/70k). Don't expect this to happen unless he drastically drops his demands.

Glad to see/hear Rose will be playing. We need someone who will offer width to make the rest of the team work.

Other bits, shame about Lennon, but if we are relying on one player then we shouldnt be aiming for 4th. Ruud, hmmm, not sure he is really what we need. No doubt a good player, but we need someone who can run channels and create as well as score - overlaps JD's role for me.

He seems to have lost any awareness of preparing us to a shape to counter how other teams play. The most impressive and probably quickest of the three players he subbed on yesterday was Hutton, in a match that was begging for some pace. That's not good enough in my opinion.

and with this, i refer you back to my last update (21) and rebrabs update (20). this has been the word all window. i don't believe it though, i still think 2 or 3 will come in, just doubt they will be major improvements. back up GK, back up CB and maybe a back up CM or CF. hope i'm wrong though, we need 1 or 2 really decent players to come in if we're mounting a serious challenge this term.

How often does Arse*nal change their first 11 to fit the opposition? Great teams play great football, they change part of their tactics, but they play their game, whoever their playing. He's given us bloody consistency, that's what he's given us, and bar parts of the Jol era we havnt had it for 20 years!!!

(on the ITK: I know who I'd chosen, and god knows he doesnt need the money, but these footballers do love their money these days, dont they..And I would really like to see Rose (and/or Gio) get a start on sat)

I've given up banging on about how we need a striker and a back up GK - cos to me it's too late now - we had a great chance for 4th - but we've blown it

so if ENIC don't want to splash the cash now - i'm not particularly worried

still be nice to win the FA cup - so i still hope they do - but i don't feel so tensed up about it now
