It's going to be keane and Hutton to Sunderland for 16m and we will end up with anti niemi on loan until the end of the season

to be honest if we could get £5 - 7 million for Keane at this stage, i'd take it. As much as I've loved this guy over the years and recognise the contribution he has made to the club, i just don't think he can make any great impact now either as a sub or as a starter.

I am a Robbie Keane fan but I do think a move to Sunderland is probably best for all concerned. His form this season hasn't been as good as usual but his attitude has been spot on. The trouble has come by the fact that Harry sees Defoe as undropable. (and Defoe's form has been questionable for the last month or so) Which means Keane is never going to have the chance to play himself back to his usual form.

Personally I just feel it was a bad idea to bring Keane back. Although people were dissapointed when he first left it was the right time.

I thought we were asking about rooney? :duh:

Nah, Rooney's just a smokescreen for Messi whoose took a pay cut to join his beloved Spurs in the Summer. Apparently he jumped at the chance to emulate his boyhood hero Ossie Ardiles and is excited at the possibility of releasing an FA cup final song during his stay at the club:razz:

As for Keane, i can see him going in the Summer, but not this window.

rio ferdinand. smalling was his replacement. we have talked to Ferguson regarding this

That was the tabloids...

Smalling will be the replacement for Vidic who will depart in the summer for big ££. Rio will carry on & partner Jonny Evans in defence

i said in the summer if we wer going to get rid of a striker it should be keane

keane doesn't work well with defoe or crouch - so it's best he goes and we get someone in with pace and power like Beckford - it's probably too late now tho

Firstly, you have so many people on ignore ( including me if I remember correctly, so I doubt you'll see this ) I don't know why you bother posting on here anymore. And secondly, give it a rest with all this beckford nonsense. He is a good league one player who played the best two games he'll ever play against us and united due to various factors. He ain't premier league quality, and although I think it may be the right time for all concerned for Keane to move on, beckford isn't anywhere near a worthy replacement for a modern spurs great. All he has is pace and he'll get found out in no time.

Andrew McKenna (Macca) on talksport, one of the few there who actually is connected and does know people, said yesterday on talksport (After Adrian Durham had questioned why Fulham didn't start a bidding war to get more money) that the papers reported fee was wholly incorrect and nowhere near. He said that Fulham were in fact delighted with the fee they got as, before add ons, it was the highest up front payment they have ever received for a player, including the Saha transfer, and before add ons it is already in an eight figure sum. I thought that was very interestng, more than 10m for someone who's only played a handful of games and that's just the basic fee. They must have seen something I haven't, cos so far my stand out memories of him include losing Crouch for our first goal, and being murdered by Agbonlahor yesterday.

As for Rio to Barca... yeah right. They've got an amazing centre back partnership, both on recently signed contracts, and the player who could be described as of the same type as Rio (Pique) is already as good despite being just a child still, and he actually doesn't get injured every 3 minutes Add to this the recently (and expensively/ foolishly) signed Chygrinsky, the new contract recently given to Marques and even the (though probably not for much longer) presence of Milito (slowly coming back from injury) and there is no way that Barca have room for an overpriced, megabucks earning has been who's only ever been a poor imitation of Ledley King anyway.

As for Keane, the papers seem to think he's off, but I just don't see it. He's started a fair bit, and is always first off the bench when we need to attack, so why would Harry sell him halfway through a season. It would really shock me to see Keane going now.

I have always been a huge fan of Robbie Keane, was sad when he left but accepted he wished to play for his boyhood team and i was delighted when he re-signed.

However i feel he is either lacking confidence big time or his pace is gone. were we to get 4th then i say he stays if not then we move him on in the summer.

Now if the Goat was there usual source then i'd expect it to be nailed on but seeing as you say its nit the usual source I must take this with a pinch of salt.

What would that mean for Pavlyuchenko though? If we sold both then we'd surely sign another.....

to be fair, it's been a while since the goats usual source has come in hasn't it?
